- On September 4th, 2021, Cardi announced the birth of their new baby boy. Fans were excited to hear that the rapper parents welcomed their new bundle of joy into the family. Cardi B and Offset were already parents of Kulture Kiara, who was born in 2018.
With another baby joining their family, Cardi and Offset are figuring out their non-traditional parenting style! Now that Cardi B and Offset are parents to two kids together, fans wonder how this family will be raising their minis! Little Kulture already follows some strict and strange rules.
As for their parenting style, Cardi and Offset are taking an old-school approach. The rapper grew up in a traditional, strict household, and she plans to do the same for her kids. Cardi said that it’s better to be tough and discipline kids rather than let them run around getting hurt and getting into trouble!

This is with all races. I know plenty of white people and conversations with many who don't allow sleep overs. I was the opposite and the parents and I were on the same page, great full nothing ever happen to my girls who are now 15 and 18. The line of communication was always open and so much more with my children as well as the other adult parties involved.

Cardi B and Offset are young people who recognised that fame and fortunes are not just wise answers to co-parenting their children. They recognised also how it is important to spend quality times with their kids , by being nurturing and at the same time it is not allowing their kids to take control over them..They are protective and meant well with disciplining their children.
I think even Cardi's haters would have no choice but to agree with the fact that she is a great mum.
She is an incredible mom. I hope this version of her reaches millions of parents and influences them to be more like her.

I definitely agree with her parenting style. As a child I was against my mom's strict parenting but as an adult I realize if I was allowed to do whatever I pleased I'd more than likely be in prison right now or I'd have hella kids (no offense to those that got pregnant at an early age).

My mother is my best friend and I know that's why I didn't mess up in my teen years. I hid nothing from her. Being able to trust each other with an open dialog is everything.
When your kids are young you can't be friends with them you have to be the parent. As you grow older and your kids grow older that's when you become friends. A good relationship between a mother and a daughter would be a friendship once the child reaches her twenties. But while they're growing and need that guidance you cannot be their friend.

Honestly I think a lot of these rules were made because they’re famous. If my kid was famous I would be scared to let her go to a sleepover at such a young age cause someone could kidnap her or something lol

The best thing I have heard about motherhood in a long time
i couldnt go out period. no sleepovers. no movies. no after school activities but one in 8th grade that we tricked my dad into thinking was required to pass lol. no sports events, parties, school dances, no prom, couldnt take drivers ed, not even detention. im "strict" as a parent too but not to the extent my mom and dad raised us. they can participate with school related things only. but no sleepovers or movies and parties. i dont trust anyone. not even other kids. my kids arent going to be hurt. im not risking it.
You must realize you are setting them up for anxiety in their later lives,please let them be kids and enjoy their youth! It’s only once in a lifetime. Also you’re parenting by fear,this would also have consequences for you too.
@@gustavus0013 i understand and appreciate your concern. i have them as well.they are not and have never been imprisoned. theyve attenedd all but sleepovers with us. and as for doinng things alone i have been letting go, but they still cant do sleepovers. and they cant go to parties alone until they reach teenage years.i have anxiety, thats been in me since childhood for several reasons. actual anxiety not the oh im nervous for a test or an interview "situational" anxiety, so i do live in fear and always have. its terrible i dont want my kids to be that way however im not raising them the way i was, which i will not share. thank you for your respect response

Being from rich or less fortunate backgrounds means Safety for both end of the spectrums .I don't agree to sleep overs because a lot of things can go wrong. If you study cases of killings ,you would realise that many young kids did not listen to their parents and you are right, too much freedom without responsibilities and discipline can tilt the balance. They all indulge too soon in sexual activities. Being in a strict , disciplined and GODLY MORALS are wonderful elements to a successful upbringing .What we sow with our kids is what we reap. We don't need to be too strict either. But it is very important to know who our kids are hanging out with.
I would say it’s healthiest to be 60% Mom 40% Friend. Some kids won’t know how to create friends if their parents never treated them like one.
And also, every child is different. Not every child can be parented the same way. You can’t just pick an approach forever to treat children no matter the personality or the age. You need to learn and adjust your approach to them based on every situation, based on their personality, based on the culture and the environment. Parenting is an ever-evolving process that will grow and change constantly. It’s a fluid thing. You don’t just say This is what I believe and Im gonna do it. Cuz then you’re already being stubborn and closed minded. If you’ve never been a parent you’re gonna see that being open minded is what will help you figure out how to raise them. Having Children make you realize you were wrong and didn’t know anything. It will humble you, and I guarantee what you think right now, it will change.

I don't think these rules are all that crazy. My son is not allowed to sleepover peoples houses either. I think she is an amazing mom! She doesn't let the fact she is a superstar or rich change her morals or parenting. I think their are many stars that could take some lessons from their parenting style.
