I think this why I don't buy tarot decks for "specific personification " . It's more art appreciation or a topic to learn. Great conversation starter Marlene 💜🌻🌞

When you said that the courts are easier for you to embrace new perspectives than the majors/minors, something clicked in my head.
I don't think it's a coincidence because the courts are the most vague in the RWS depictions. They force you to figure things out on your own, unlike the majors/minors.
I've often thought that an overreliance on seeing things the RWS way can make us rigid, because the tarot archetypes exist beyond what Pamela Smith could depict. And if we get stuck on her illustrations as the only way to view a card, we close off all other possibilities. I think that's why you struggle less with the ambiguous courts but more with the clearer cards.

Thank you Marlene - I bought the Goddess of Love tarot a while back…but haven’t gotten around to working with her. Your mentioning using this deck to get ‘into your body’ has inspired me. I have had a run of illnesses recently and my body has become my ‘enemy’ in some ways. It is time I work on this relationship! ❤

Fantastic topic! I loved hearing your thoughts on both decks. I would definitely use them together. I think they would make an incredible pair to do an As Above So Below spread. The Intuitive Night Goddess starry backdrop is ideal for ABOVE and I think the disjointed elements in it's artwork could reveal interesting connections with the Goddess of Love Tarot as BELOW. I had The Intuitive Night Goddess Tarot deck and had to give it away. The artwork made absolutely no sense to me and only made me angry every time I tried to work with it.

YUMMY. I was listening at first then I had to watch as I wanted to see the cards you were talking about. LOL. I've been on the fence about Goddess of Love for awhile... That 10 of cups card with the fire makes me think of its Mars association!? Like Mars in Pisces, violence with watery natures... IDK. I liked this deep dive into these decks! I like the prospect of asking if the decks we own are doing what they say they will or like you said just ride the waves like we would any other time! *kisses
I’m so glad you liked it. After all the critical analysis, I still just love the energy of the Goddess of Love and how it fits into my practice. The other one went back into the rehome box. Go figure! I’m thinking of making more like this where I take the tarot to task. lol.
