Hey brother man that was an awesome video thank you very much for the knowledge, I have a Harley-Davidson Fatboy and my rear wheel is cupping The treads are fine it's just cupping and like you said I run them 40 PSI and take mad turns hard. Thank you again. safe ride
I believe this is what’s causing my bike to have an up and down vibration once I go past 70 on highway and on any surface. The very center of my front Michelin scorchers has that cupped snagging feeling if I run my hands down the tread. Hopefully that’s the issue, bike only has 5k on it so I’m not thinking it’s a bearing in either the wheel or steering head.
Watched about 12 videos about cupping and you sir explained it best. Well done.
Thank you for the explanation- I’m a new rider and I just experienced this yesterday. This information will greatly help me.
Glad it was helpful!
Excellent video.

I noticed my front tire has that on it with only about 3500 miles. I also had a few front tire slips lately. Michelin road 6
keep hearing about it happening to this tyre model

But the cupping might be related to the suspension of the bike or geometry... high rebound or compression....as well as tyre pressure
Title was “Tire Cupping Explained”…except he didn’t explain why it happens!
