Great call. I've been playing almost 35 years (mostly as a studio/session player) and, I hate to admit, that I fall into that "Yngwie mostly just plays the same triad-shaped, 926-note runs over and over" category. I think he's had some great, often overlooked, work in his career but I find I can't listen to too much or I zone out. This song was an exception when I first heard it in 1986. Up to that point he had really just done heavy, fast pseudo-classical stuff on his solo albums so the emotions on this song put him in a different light to me. All these years later it's still holding up and a real hidden gem for players, or just guitar fans, who haven't discovered it. Great job, Kelly. Cheers.

Outstanding! I was always influenced by Yngwie when I first started to play guitar, thank you for being much influential as well. I tell my musical brothers about you whenever I see them out. I call fellow musicians family as I was once far away from my real family and playing and hanging out with other musicians made me feel at home.
