Getting annoyed at a boss in a game doesnt mean you can be mean to other people. That player was probably still a child whoâs parents did a bad job raising.. sorry you had to be in that world volt
Not necessarily a bad job raising. Kids have less impulse control than adults and often can't deal with their emotions like we would expect them too. My brothers would get like this playing games and that was in an age before being able to play anonymously online with others. Were they bad kids? Nah, they just didn't have the adult perspective that it was time to walk away from the game and calm down. The part of the brain that does that would eventually develop as they got older but they definitely threw a few controllers at the floor as pre teens without thinking about the consequences and then immediately regretting it (cuz, yah know they broke a controller and would have to replace it themselves). I wouldn't be so quick to condemn this player and their parents if they were young.
Honestly though. I wonder if that's what he learned from his parents tbh.
Ik my own parents think it's okay to lash out at people cause they're tired, but gosh.. I'm glad I did not turn out to be this type of person myself. Hopefully he'll learn in time to be better :/

I started this game since about like 14 days before venti's first rerun in *1.4* is over and when i was AR 17 (when i first unlocked co-op for a first time) at the time and this AR 55 dud came to my world and asking me if i needed help, ofc i would and thats how i started my journey in genshin. I've made so many memories playing with him from 1.4 to 2.0, he teaches me about some artifacts even though i was low and i managed to catch it up very quickly, he even questioned my Tartaglia with a geo dmg goblet bc i was copium, dumb and thought that my zhongli's pillar is carried over on the field. When I reached to AR 55, he came to my world to congratulate me for reaching this level and gave a few lanterns from the first lantern rite that i never experienced to celebrate me. He later tells me that he will unfriend him bc he needs more space to help other low AR players, i respectfully agree and I thank him for helping me for this long for 4 months.
I'm now AR 58 today, with a solid gud team that can 3 star spiral abyss now and I'm also doing the same thing that he did to me
Edit: looking at this now, Iâm very glad there are many ppl that had similar stories, I actually managed to contact a guy through my teapot that shows all the requests that sped up my furnishings and heâs one of them; he recognized me and send me to his discord servers with many ppl that he interact with and make a lot of new friends there. I guess u can say I become a backbone to that server and a discord mod there đ
I too had someone help me through genshin. And now I'm also helping others the way he did.
I like helping people because it's genuinely fun. And also because I want them to level up and *feel the boredom of AR50* as early as possible

That reminds me that one time I received a friend request, I was just out of a game with someone else and I just didn't really payed attention so I accepted, turns out it wasn't that person but a random ar 32 player or smth like that, they asked for help, I was free but it was getting kinda late so I thought that I'll just stay for a bit to help them, when I arrived they asked me to help them doing a dmg showcase, so I took out Bennett and they asked for Sara (Yae Miko main apparently, but they had Ayaka as well) but the thing is... even if I was ar 57... I don't really use team comps and stuff, I mean, I watch these kinds of showcases (y'now, Moba & Chill, channels like that) but I never really payed attention to the rotation and specific moves, that player wasn't very polite to begin with, but it got worse after, they didn't insult me directly but they started to get aggressive really fast, I could feel that they were really annoyed, kinda treating me like an idiot, I have to admit that I kinda failed at least two times and made them waste potions, but chill bro, third time or smth, I got how it worked (ofc they explained it to me but I had to familiarize myself with the process first, I found it funny how they assumed I was a pc player btw, and tbh I passed more of my game hunting chests and exploring for food than trying to boost my dmg (I mean, yeah I'm farming artifacts but it's not the same) me being high ar doesn't mean I have crazy dmg, know everything about the game and have every single characters, neither that I'm interested in buffs and knows all the mecanics I mean, If I have to use food buff I just throw in whatever seems nice lol, at best I use elemental reactions, and I've been doing fine so far, props to the food gadget btw, that stuff carried me and seriously, my inventory's never short on food ) Anyways, I think smth went wrong with them and they didn't liked the result so they "asked" to start again, but their game crashed and I got kicked out, then they sent a message "asking" to come back...
I feel like I was either too tired to fight back or too nice for my own good bc I thought : man, it's late, maybe that person had a bad day so they wanted to see some nice dmg before going to sleep, maybe they're just upset bc it took some tries...

After that I don't remember if they asked to start again or if they just kicked me out but what I'm sure is that :
1 : they never thanked me

OMG pretendar joined my World today, He is still annoyed at everything.After i mentioned that i know him from CZcams(this Video to be precise) He honestly demanded to harvest that cliff lotus, in exchange for the honor of his visit, i've already harvested every specialty in sumeru this morning( yay for Tighnari). He went ballistic after he realized that he won't get anything. After cooling down he ordered me to defeat the Shroom Boss(alone might I add) so he can get some loot, just after defeating it and getting my loot I kicked him while he was teleporting to me (he was crafting in the City while I fought the boss). I joined someones world once and they had a friend with them, so P1 was really nice but P2 was extremely pushy and demanding, while I was playing my Lyre they pulled out theirs and started playing a song, not only that we had to follow them. And Ill be honest I was doing decent dmg, so they asked if I had a Hu Tao and I said yeah and changed my character to Hu Tao. They went full on toxic mode after they saw I had Xiaoâs spear on my Hu Tao (I did not have many spears at the time) and they said âWhY dO yOu hAvE ThAt sPeAr oN hU TaO!â They then continued for 5 minutes on telling me my Hu Tao sucks and how to build her right but they practically demanded it and when I said âIm good, she is fineâ they said in the most toxic way possibleâŠ. âHave fun playing with a Bad Hu Taoâ and then left the world. I spoke with the other players on their behavior (there was a P4 too) and P1 was all like âOh thats just how they are, they only want to helpâ while P4 agreed with me on the fact that they were rude, I was nice to them but I guess they didnât like it. I left not long after snd blocked them.

This happened to me in one of the Domain, there's this player that is talking trash Diluc, & bragging that his Xiao could solo the domain, what he didn't know was, I was actually strolling those Domain with my C6 Diluc (max talent), 71% crit rate, 218% crit DMG.

I streamed myself playing Genshin for the first time earlier today (AR35) and had a really nice lvl 90 player come join me! I had a lot of fun aying alongside them :0 I would probably cry if I ever had someone toxic like that drop into my world because I'm really sensitive.

Once an AR 59 player joined my world. I switched to Itto and they've gone berseck. They said that Itto is the worst and the most useless character ever. The fact they just try to swim across the waterâŠđ€Ł Itâs way easier to just run around the water using the islands than to try and swim it. Also, Noelle is a great character for hacking down those geo pillarâs because she can damage them quickly and she has an effective shield. Iâve done that boss far more than any other and itâs really not that bad after awhile.
