Kevin, I have just returned from Tenerife after spending the last two weeks at the Labranda suites.
I have been to Tenerife many times before including at Christmas when I met you outside the Las Rocas beech club. The Labranda Suites is a fantastic place to stay. I was on my own yet they gave me a family room which was very impressive. They are new and are immaculately cleaned every day with complimentary water. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the swimming pools are superb. Loads of sunbeds and the location is five minutes walk to fanabe beech and the best selection of restaurants in Tenerife ( including El Gran Sol). Amazing place.
I could not be more Impressed with the Labranda Suites..

Well, this hotel hasn't half changed! Stayed there twice, 2016 and 2018 and it looks totally different. Knew they'd spent a fortune doing it up, badly needed for about 20 years. The terrace between the two buildings used to be the nightime entertainment area with a long catwalk-style stage. Still two pools and reception has been moved. Very nice! You should do a review of the Melia Jardines del Teide. It's just about next door to my apartment. You could do review of the hotel (which has amazing views) and maybe of my place. :o)

Hey Kevin, we stayed here a week before lockdown March 2020, it was definitely in need of a major refurbishment, it now looks amazing & totally different & modern. Would be interested to see the restaurant area now, that was very dated & quite dungeony. We staying at hovima panorama end of May.

There are three pools all heated the third pool is at the rear and gets the sun all day and is quieter but no bar the rooms suite style bedroom and sitting area stayed there March
What was the food like? Heard mixed reviews
Found the food at the buffet fine good choice leaning more to continental tastes a lot of seafood I was half board so didn’t eat there all the time

It says online when booking the hotel is split adults area and family area,and whichever side you book then that’s the only facility’s you can use so if I book an adults room online is that what I would only have access to then just the adult side?

Stayed here 3 times in the past few years ( when it was Isla Bonita ) was a cheapish AI hotel but in a great location. Food wasn't the best. They used to have a roof top sunbathing area. The dining area is downstairs. Have to say from your video, what a transformation, all credit to them.

Stayed there a few years ago isla Bonita cheap and cheerful 😀 but looked like prisoner cell block H, the entertainment was good though think his name was Danny.
It looks fantastic now but I bet it’s expensive, sometimes cheap and cheerful is good 👍 rooms are very spacious.
Are there smoking areas in the hotel?
Not sure , prob just outside.
Have a look at the Baobab suites next time
