- Many people have asked me how the streets get on Topsail Island NC during a storm. Topsail streets DO get high water during solid rains. Well Hurricane Ian ended up coming to our area, so I ventured out before things got too bad to make driving dangerous and took this video. Hopefully this footage gives you some insight as to how things can look.
