- LA Fleet Week is an annual, multi-day celebration of the nation’s sea services held on the L.A. Waterfront at the Port of Los Angeles over the extended Memorial Day Weekend. Events include:
The free event includes active duty ship tours, military displays and equipment demonstrations, live entertainment, aircraft flyovers, military band performances and more.

Tried going today... there was too many people and long lines to get in and the USS Carl Vinson stopped taking in new tours just after couple hours...

I'm from San Francisco where Fleet Week is a huge deal. Since coming to L.A., I had no idea they even celebrate it or is that just in San Diego? Whatever, they probably charge you to go sit and watch anyway which is not the case in Northern California

As I said, how much $$$. It's the only thing I hate about Los angeles, everything has to be paid for, even street fairs. Again, not in Northern California and we draw the biggest crowds in the country. Look it up. And this isn't L.A. it's San Diego
