Davul (tupan) built from scratch

How I built a 14" x 18"(diameter) davul from scratch using wood, goat skin, rope and metal rods. This was about 1.5 days project. First time building from scratch, however in the past, I've done a little djembe work, as well as synthetic heads on existing shell. After doing this, I can see a number of ways that I would have done it differently for a better finished product. However I am pleased with the result.
