There is so much intelligence happening behind the targeting of these ships by groups supporting the Houthis, like Iran and maybe Russia. The question here is why do all these countries care about the Houthis sanctioning Israel economically when all other ships are good to pass through the straight without harm? I can only conclude that these militaries mobilized to defend Israel, not to protect the water ways. Israel owns the economies of all actors and that fact has become apparent now more than ever before.

It can also track any surface ship in all of that region.
