Mam, DVT patient with heparin infusion we we will provide bedrest but warfarin bedrest needed? I think Options D is suitable , plz clarify the answer

Hi, Resmi, thank you for your suggestion. The question was asked the needs of the patient to be continued not the nursing interventions for a client on warfarin therapy . the key word in the question is "needs". As you know that after discontinuing heparin therapy and continuing with warfarin, the effect of warfarin will be taking place at least from 4 days onwards. All options are mentioned regarding nursing management, but the question asked for needs(remember physiological needs---Maslow hierarchy of needs) --sleep---under that bed rest will come
