It most certainly was fanservice. You can easily pull this movie apart when you start asking questions. Nonetheless, it's still everything I ever wanted.
It’s fan service but honestly at its narrative core it’s still a very well written story
It's not fan service, purely because of how much they were involved with the plot
@@HQofrandom the problem is that when you start to actually question the plot, it makes less and less sense as time goes by. Firstly, why would Dr Strange help a child mind control the entire earth without even letting him know the rules and repercussions of said spell first. He’s meant to be one of the smartest men alive, and a master in the mystic arts but he can’t even bother to go through the rules of a spell that will erase everyone’s memory with the kid before he does it. With that ridiculous plot hole , and only because of it, we get the other two Spideys. There were also OTHER spells that could have been placed. Making the world forget Mysterio, who didn’t even exist to the people of the world before a few weeks from when this movie took place. Erasing him from their memories would have had no negative impact on the people. Third, how does one of the most powerful sorcerers in the world get beat by a high schooler using math in his own controlled reality??? It’s not a wonder that he poses no challenge to Wanda in MoM. As much as I love No Way Home, it so obviously skips a lot of logical steps in order to advance the plot to what we want to see, and what we want to see is Tobey and Andrew. It is fan service. Probably the worst case of it because not only did they give everyone so much that they disregarded all the other problems with the film, even making people believe that it deserved a fkn Oscar, but it set the bar of expectations so high up that now every time a new Phase 4 movie comes out, it’s automatically trash because there aren’t cool cameos and returning characters that ppl wanna see.
@@mateom1691 It’s not the strongest narrative logic, but IMO all of those things have decent explanations. Enough to not make them huge plot holes anyway, enough for me to suspend disbelief even though some of them are bordering on too contrived. Strange helps a teenager remove the specific memory of who he is because he’s arrogant and because he feels bad for Peter due to him getting mixed up in everything over the last few years. Yes, he should have explained everything clearly, but he not entirely unreasonably assumed Peter had thought through what he was asking for (it’s not until later that it hits him how young Peter is). Stephen is smart, but he’s not necessarily always wise. The knowledge of who Spider-Man is is even newer than the knowledge of Mysterio, so people aren’t negatively effected by that either. Other than his friends and family, but Peter explicitly didn’t figure that out until it was too late. Exactly how the memory spell works is left vague enough that erasing Mysterio from people’s minds might still leave knowledge of Peter being Spider-Man. As for Strange losing in the Mirror dimension, the way I see it is that he controls it through force, but doesn’t understand the theoretical underpinnings of how the place works. He’s a medical doctor, not a mathematical doctor. Peter has a background in mathematics and physics, and ultimately he can move and react faster than Stephen, who is still a regular human outside of his magic, and usually needs his hands free. If anything it’s impressive Stephen somehow figured out how to free himself and also return without a ring.
@@keno4770 and what was its narrative core? going to a wizard to make the world forget about Peter being Spider-man, why? because his friends couldn't get into school, a school Tony Stark heavily funded and went to, and so somehow it opens up the multiverse to only specific people at specific times? and then, have Dr. Strange tell Peter they have to capture these villains, when he literally just let the green goblin go because plot? which then leads to Peter finding Electro in the middle of no where with Sandman randomly there? can someone please explain how in the hell people think this is a well written story? followed by more idiotic strange with Peter somehow defeating him in the mirror dimension? only to lead those villains who have killed dozens of people, even in this universe, to a safe house with his aunt so he can cure them, which leads to his aunt's death, only to have 2 other spider-man show up right after to take your mind off how horse shit the writing is for nostalgia, and it's a scene that is truly horrible as an entrance, it's laughable.
Take away all the multiverse stuff, insert Vulture, Scorpion, and other villains like Kingpin, and have Daredevil be there to team up. That alone would have been a better movie for my money, instead of wasting Charlie Cox in that one scene where apparently he's already met Peter, and pretty much ruining Kingpin in Hawkeye. Add multiverse stuff on top but introduce the other 2 Spider-Men in the beginning of act 2. Act 3 should have felt like a pay off to seeing all 3 Spider-Mans stories in that one movie, not shoved in at the last second simply because the villains in the movie are from that universe. If it's narrative core is "with great power there may also come great responsibility," it should have been more responsible in telling a great story with that power that most people would dream of. A group of middle schoolers could have written No Way Home and I wouldn't be surprised
The moment that broke me was Andrew's facial expression upon saving MJ. He made up for failing to rescue Gwen, and forgave himself in the process.
Easily the best scene in the movie
Ok trina q
very obvious
Andrew is so cuteeee 🥺
I don't like how she was just used to forward Andrew's story's. It's usually what women are used for in these movies. She had no idea what was happening she was just falling than she wasn't.
Totally agree about erasing mysterio’s existence rather than forgetting he’s spiderman! But then again, movie plot ya know
To be fair though, you’re the first person I’ve seen/heard say this and while you’re 100% correct, it’s definitely not the first thing people would think to do while panicking through a situation like this, y’know? (I want to add ‘realistically’ to this comment somewhere but shockingly little is realistic about the MCU lol)
Spider-Man doesn’t kill people lol if he can avoid it which clearly that would be killing someone and he can easily avoid that and it was his own mistake giving him those weapons so it’s his fault but I agree I would do that but it’s just not in his character it was more about accountability
@@ferdinandmartinez5557 but mysterio was already dead, erasing mysterio wouldn't affect anyone as much as erasing spiderman who is alive and currently helps the city fight against crime.
@@onlyamberrr9635 I agree with you but I feel like it’s just a character arc thing like he isn’t going to willing erase the dudes existence when he basically let the problems occur and in the comics when no one knows Spider-Man is my favorite comics cause he is just badass lol atleast to me so I could be biased🙃
Erasing Mysterio from everyone's memory won't erase the secret being out. People will still know Spider-Man's secret and, unlike other superheroes, Peter does not want that.
Example: When Peter's secret was revealed in the comics, his loved ones got targeted, eventually leading to Aunt May getting shot. It's the same deal here. No matter what, Peter doesn't want the entire world to know he's Spider-Man, because then that gets his loved ones targeted by any and all enemies he's ever made and/or will make. So, no matter what, Spider-Man's identity needs to be forgotten.
I didn’t realize until Trin said that andrews Peter Parker knew exactly what not to do when saving MJ and now I’m thinking he probably replayed that moment with Gwen in his head over and over probably wondering what he could’ve done different and I’m sobbing
Dude i know!!i never thought of it that way until she said that.
I thought that was the entire point of the scene 😶
@@maijashea It was hahaha
Look at little Luna Jr, gonna cry? 😁
@@applejuuls most definitely lol Trin is cool and all but this was WELL known
people say fanservice like it's a dirty word. but that's just cuz it's so often done without thought. this was fanservice but it was done absolutely perfectly. It made logical sense, it wrapped the storylines of characters from other movies that we loved, it ushered in more of the MCU multiverse, it reset the MCU Spider-Man. it accomplished everything it set out to do and more. and it was FUN THE WHOLE TIME (except for when it was VERY SAD)
fanservice can be a lot of fun when done right! i just think that fanservice tends to service specific people, which is why people who haven't watched the other franchises, or even just feel strongly about it, don't really "get the hype". it's still a pretty fun movie regardless! but without that connection, it kinda just comes across as another nice mcu film.
(and basically it feels like a story that you need to do homework on, watching other franchises and marvel shows, just so you can get the hype.)
EDIT: this isn't a bad thing really. but that's why this film doesn't fly with many people.
This movie does not make logical sense. You can pick the plot apart in five seconds by asking basic questions.
Well unfortunately it’s been used waaaay too much as a dirty word if you catch my drift when it comes to things like anime (which I can’t help but despise now) while actual fan service is just basically giving what fans want and like given the context of the subject or said product etc.
I Agree With Everything You Said.
no cus andrew garfield showing up is in the top 10 moments in my life fr
Agreed, when he first appeared in screen, everyone in my cinema actually applauded!
@@trinaq everyone at mine screamed so loud, myself included
Like him existing in general is super fire right, but then he puts the spandex on right,
@@trinaq my whole theater erupted 💀 same for when Tobey showed up
My dumbass went to the restroom at the EXACT moment they both appeared on screen for the first time. I regret it so much lmao. Couldn't have picked a worse time. People kept yelling for like 10 mins after that scene
I read that when Andrew said “I love you” it was improvised by him so the reactions and timing of them saying thank you are genuine lol I love that if it’s true
Even tho Tobey is my favorite Spider-Man Andrew stole the show literally made me cry every time he was talking about Gwen and caught MJ realizing he saved another peters lover. I still like this movie and a movie for true Spider-Man fans who watched the previous Spider-Man movies and the fan service only elevated that experience. Willem Defoe literally ate up every time he was on screen. Girl you are treading on ice with those comments on dr strange lmao cause the toxic mcu fans are gonna show their nasty faces even tho I really like Dr strange.
Tobeys spiderman has such a comforting feeling to me. But I agree andrew was incredible chills.
@@ellaaaaaaaaa6175 especially after all the bully Maguire memes every time I watch his movies the memes just elevate the experience even more but Andrew like he ate he served us S tier acting like Gwen’s death literally is the saddest thing in the Spider-Man film franchise I cry every time I see it and every time it’s talked about in NWH. Like in the theaters with my friend we were bawling our eyes out and I was like “Damn it I knew I was gonna cry”.
I'm with Trin on her dislike for Doctor Strange... and Tony as well 😅
@@Ghostface1998 so you only like tobey spidey movies for the memes ? :(
@@Phillysavage no I’m just saying the memes make the movie experience even better now. I already liked the movies it’s my favorite Spider-Man trilogy.
everyone appreciating the love of my life andrew garfield as peter parker after NWH came out was the societal redemption I needed
It feels like I can finally tolerate this timeline til we see him again... which we must for further tolerance
Trin being a big girl in her apartment and killing her intruder. 👏🏻
I don't blame the VFX artist for the CGI being bad, I blame Marvel as a company. As you said the artists are overworked and underpaid and for what, so Marvel can put our 7 mediocre projects a year instead of 2 good ones like they used to. While I like some of the projects that have come out since Disney+ was launched I think the quality of their projects (mostly from a CGI and writing stand point) has dropped significantly since then.
yea i was surprised i actually liked the cgi in ms marvel. while i love all of the content, it would be nice if they slowed down. it would improve things overall i think.. actors could rest, cgi would be better and therefore more immersive.. less likely to have plot holes bc there’d be time for shit to be rly well thought out
idk i don’t work in film so i can’t say much. i think only two-three things coming out within two-three years increases the hype, which could or could not be a bad thing depending on whether someone likes the content or not.
they've become a machine, like the hype is real, this why they don't take time on their movies anymore because they want that bag! They are "expected" to release so many hit movies! It's crazy!
i’m glad it’s not just me, i can’t remember which movie i caught my parents watching and noticed just how OFF the cgi was (as a fan of cgi and animation) and my mom tried to act like i was nitpicking but for a marvel movie it seemed so out of place when it’s expected to be some of the best and it was as simple as the lighting not being rigged correctly for the cgi scene happening
I feel like they shot a version where Tobey dies after getting stabbed but then realised how fucking crazy people would be if they kept it so they reshot it so he’s just ok afterwards 😅
people would riot and invade kevin feige’s home if they’d done that lmao good thing they changed it
I honestly thought they did but when they test screened it, the audience absolutely hated it so they reshot/left it out.
That makes sense because it would have been the Right decision narratively speaking, but I also would have HATED if they had fucking killed MY Spiderman, so it was the correct choice, even if it ended up looking like a cheap, false scare.
Gurl u are absolutely not wrong, a lot of doctor strange dialogue is basically trying to be tony. But I want to be fair, the way the wrote stranges character in this movie is really bad, it was just to let the plot move along without logic and following strangest character anyway
while i completely agree that the dialogue of strange is very similar to tony, you have to understand that tony and strange are essentially the same character in the comics. Like doctor strange in a lot of ways is just a carbon copy of tony with slight variations here and there. Both are extremely cocky and up about themselves and kind of view themselves as above everyone else.
This was supposed to come out after Mom, so I'm wondering what were reshoots and if America was somehow supposed to be involved
@@Andjelka99 She was originally supposed to be introduced in this film and due to rescheduling they had to rewrite a good chunk of it.
It’s definitely fanservice, but I wouldn’t call it -just- fanservice. The other Peters don’t just show up and look cool, they contribute to the plot. I wouldn’t call the movie iconic among superhero movies overall (like Infinity War) though. It’s got some iconic moments, but that doesn’t necessarily translate to the movie as a whole being iconic.
This movie was my Endgame, because I COMPLETELY missed out on that cinematic experience. So I'm glad I was able to experience NWH in the theater.
so the netflix shows (dare devil, punisher, luke cage etc.) were no longer considered canon and all cancelled and people were really sad, so them having Charlie Cox in the MCU movie basically made all those shows canon again cause they were all connected.
Still can’t believe they were all canceled especially after that show that had them all crossover
They should keep all of them except Iron Fist
@@emilyvasquez2495 i know!!! it was so good, it was so evil of them
@@fionatastic0.070 agreed, dare devil, punisher, luke cage, jessica jones > iron fist
One touching moment is when Peter decides not to tell MJ and Ned the truth about who is really is. He knows that so many people, namely Aunt May, have suffered due to knowing that he's Spiderman, and knows that they'd be better off in the long run.
Ok Trina q
@The Watcher how are you blaming her shouldn’t you blame goblin
Touching? Hard disagree. He was disregarding her autonomy by not doing the very thing that she asked him to do. Like I get he was still dealing with the trauma of losing Aunt May, so I don't really blame him, but it's far from touching.
@@kilianalexander2736 this. She deserved to know bc she wanted to and asked him to
And what’s even more touching is that he went back on his promise for their safety. I feel like most of us already did pretty much know where it was going when he said he’d find them, but when he decided not to act on it it was still just as heartbreaking
Daredevil is such a good show especially the final season - would really recommend - (I’ve corrected as it seems to be the consensus) THE BEST marvel show imo
the best marvel show *^
the BEST marvel show imo
prob the best I always forget it’s a marvel movie cause it’s wayy better than anything else
one of ? sir it is literally the best creation of the entire MCU
the show was already good, but charlie cox's matt murdock is what makes it so perfect. i almost screamed in the theater during his cameo
killing the bug with “so final girl of me” is like so so so so funny
Trin facts it is stevens fault idc if he couldn't even stop the spell once began he should've asked the CHILD some more lead up questions when it came to tampering with the multiverse
Valid points about Dr. Strange, I get how you feel that way.
Doc and Tony share a lot of the same character traits in the comics, such as narcissism - both rich, wealthy, and arrogant, until they are humbled and become better people by virtue of being superheroes and havingtheir eyes opened to things about their world which they didn't quite know before. It's not that they're trying to make Doc a copy of Tony, it's just that their personalities in the comics were pretty similar, but they are definitely not the same people. We did see eveidence of that in INfinity War when they first met, they were (naturally) kind of antagonistic toward eachother because of clashing personalities. Doc wanted Tony to take a universe ending threat more seriously, Tony's constantly quipping jokes, they actually are similar but very different, it just takes a bit more of look into both their personalities to see how different in their approaches to certain situations they actually are.
Also, I love the fact that you shouted out to the VFX artists! It's actually such a stressful job being up against such tight dealines of work and the mountain of hours VFX artists are contracted to do for even one film. There are true stories of artist being up against tight dealines so tight that they cry from stress, the work not being done because there isnt enough time to really polish the work (even for the trailers, people are noticing) and its not their fault, its the deadlines. Its a systemic thing, and Im glad its being talked about in regards to a solutions
Since I think you didn't notice it, Spiderman's final suite ("the shine one") is indeed the OG Spidey suite from the comics! Totally homemade, perfect way to re-start Tom Holland's Spiderman ❤❤✨
The scene where Ned and MJ are comforting Peter on the roof made me cry both times I’ve watched it. The raw emotion you can feel from that scene hit me HARD boy let me tell ya
This movie is just surreal as a spider man fan. I never even saw the andrew movies beforehand and it still felt like a fever dream just seeing him there, and don't even get me started on Tobey. It's just like too awesome to be able to just watch over and over, that shouldn't be possible
I have seen movies that are just fan service. This was NOT fan-service. This was 3 generations of Spiderman coming together (villains and Spiders alike) to create what is, in my humble opinion, one of THE BEST MCU movies period. The emotion in this movie was REAL....especially with the three Peters and their respective arcs. This movie had emotional moments that made me cry with the characters. It may be the third in a trilogy, but it is, by far, the best of the three.
it definitely was fan service and that's okay, it's still enjoyable but it's fan service nonetheless.
Was it a a fair bit fan service-y? Absolutely. Did I still have a good time? Absolutely.
Mostly really enjoyed seeing how the three Peters interacted with one another
Like let’s be honest idc the fan service really carried the movie but that isn’t a bad thing it was fan service done right. The one thing that mainly bugs me is the fact they wanted to cure all the villains instead of sending them back cause doing that fucks even more shit up.
Daredevil commentary when 😭 it has it all, the cinematography, the amazingly built story arcs that build to a crescendo (in s1 and 3 lol), the moodiness, the tracking shots up Matt’s body… I could go on
dairdevil in this movie was so important bc he's been locked behind netflix's greedy greedy fingers for years and it just means we get him (and other) characters from the netflix marvel series that were (imo) a lot more interesting and dynamic than the mainline movies ,,,, watch jessica jones when you get the chance,,, shes so slay
Netflix’s greedy greedy fingers? What are you talking about? Marvel initially came to them to produce shows. They financed the shows.
@@wesstewart2677 if you can't tell a joke when you see one why are you here
no because the point about strange and tony is so accurate
omg yeah i absolutely agree that they should’ve included the villains’ themes from the previous movies; TASM2’s score & Electro’s theme in particular are my absolute favourites
I thought that it was an amazing Spider-Man film, even aside from the nostalgia. It was perfect, and felt just like the comics. Although there were a few plot holes, it had lasting consequences not only for Peter but for the MCU as a whole. I’m super excited to explore that concept in the future and adult Peter Parker. His adult stories are his best.
Hey so Daredevil is my favorite superhero show ever (and a lot of other people’s favorite) and I think that Trin should watch, and make commentary for it. It’s a 10/10 show and she’d probably like it, bc it’s very well written and acted, and has excellent characters, action sequences, heartfelt moments, and villains
Agree!!! My favourite marvel project and one of the best shows ever made IMO. Would love to see trin enjoying the female gaze that is matt Murdock existing
I, myself don't hate Dr. Strange but I completely understand your hate towards him. Also you might be the only one who makes actual genuine criticism about this movie unlike twitter that shits on something just because it's popular. Literally agree with everything you said, compliments and criticisms alike.
Trin Andrew Garfield is only 39 I can't possibly consider that "pushing 50" 😂😂😂😂
no because you are so right about doctor strange. i’m afraid to dislike him…. but i rrly do and ur so right for bringing attention to the doctor strange hate club
Like I respect you for disliking daddy since daddy isn't great all the time but da
It’s because everyone is writing him so badly! That What If episode with him was so well done and the only time I’ve seen that really happen in live action was how he beat Dormamu. I feel like they need to lean in on the unrelenting sacrificial side instead of snarky and annoying. Give me an unhinged Dr. Strange.
Same. He's an asshole and a boring character imo. Also dislike Iron Man 😅
definitely the glider killed her. that's why it would have been quite poetic if peter killed goblin with his glider in their last fighting scene. even then, when goblin goes back to his universe, he does die from the glider lmao so ✨poetry✨
Jurassic World Dominion is an example of empty fan service I walked out of that movie feeling bored and tired. I walked out of NWH feeling exhilarated and wanting to go see it again, sure the three Spidermen showing up is fan service but they also have meaningful arcs and help Peter overcome his obstacles
No but "I think he's a detective" I think we've all inadvertently confused our friends and family like this during a Marvel movie at some point.
finally someone talks about how unfunny dr strange was in this film, i was literally cringing in the the movie theatre when he was talking about the ‘scoopy doo this shit’
the scooby doo line had me cringing in my seat
ngl the please is kinda more cringey Imo?? its just hanging on the line even more.
@@scottwilson1004 definetley lmao, like it wasn’t funny the first time and then they repeat it?
I hate what they're doing to Strange in the MCU so much. He's one of my favourite comic characters, and they keep giving him these awful quips and one liners. Like that Black Bolt one in MoM? I nearly died in the cinema
That's literally the only part of the film I liked that didn't involve the 3 Spideys aligning like........
i waited since october 2020 for this film to give me closure and oh my god it was literally a main highlight of my life. this gave me so much that my soul just NEEDED after the way they did tasm dirty. i’ve never reacted so physically in a cinema and i never will again as much as i did for nwh - and anyone in the uk knows cinema experiences are generally very quiet minus laughs. nwh on opening night felt like a concert i was LIVING
I feel like originally the movie had a totally different script cause....Strange has been through alot to just do a dangerous spell without asking questions before hand. I think originally, the spell was actually meant to show Peter that he should be careful what he wishes for. "This is what happens when you you try to change the timeline,Peter"
The movie was supposed to be different America Chavez was supposed to be in this to bring up the multiverse and bring the Peters together fr but they had to change which ruined this and doctor strange 2
It was so funny when I first saw this, I was with my friend and she kept being like, "If they aren't in the first hour, they aren't in it" and then this scene came up and she was already crying but then she started to cheer and cry while laughing at her. Best moment ever lmao
I read a few articles when the movie came out and almost all of them wrote 'fan service' I was like..."uh-oh". Cuz the last time I heard the word 'fan service' was when Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker came out and how it was quite unpleasant to many people.
But, this fan service is actually pleasant not just to me but also to many people
Well star wars took what was supposed to be fan service, and shat all over it.
I totally got what you meant with the Dr. Strange comments, I had never realized it and it bothered me too afterwards. But I actually still really like Dr. Strange and his movies.
and that's ok
same!!!
also i really love benedict so not liking dr.strange feels wrong to me🥹
I like the idea of Doctor Strange but not the way they actually write him.
i love his powers and his relationships with others, like wong and america. but i hate when marvel tries to make ppl too funny yk. those forced, netflix teen movie level jokes. rly kills the moment lmfao
I actually liked him too! It's funny because I didn't really like him at first when watching doctor strange but I ultimately grew to love him. And I'll be the first to admit I actually thought he was funny 😅
The Glee Music over the Daredevil appearance 10/10.
No Dr. Strange slander in this house 👏🏻
He's so funny, Cumberbatch's delivery is hilarious imo and idk wizards/sorcerers are cool.
I'm not gonna police on people disliking celebrities, I don't care about them but Cumberbatch seems like a nice enough bloke. I don't have any reasons to dislike him either, but I like him ad Dr Strange
I’m loving the content lately trin I feel like you’ve been on a role recently x
totally agree about the strange and tony dialogue thing but I always saw it as its because they're really similar they're both pretty narcissistic and egotistical and that's why they didn't get along in infinity war and sound the same
no cuz andrew being the one to save mj was everything
I don’t know if Trin knows how genius she was when she said Doctor Strange doesn’t have a girlfriend in any universe. I don’t know if she watched ‘What If’ but we literally see that he never has a girlfriend since she is meant to die
This movie is GREAT idc!! I’m curious to what’s the next Spider-Man movie is gonna be about!!🤔
I think we’re gonna get Miles, the symbiote, and Scorpion in the next movie, that’s just a prediction though
he offer to crack his back cuz he is the only one strong enough to relieve the pain
omg i’ve never thought about it that way!!! so true
the reason they had toby’s spider-man get stabbed is in the original cut of the movie he was suppose to die but it didn’t test well with audience’s
They did include one of the themes from toby’s spiderman movie actually, you hear it when doc oc and toby talk to eachother
May died because the Glider has literal blades that impale people and it hit her straight in the back and flung her in the air.
When Corridor Digital breaks down a scene, they'll talk about a 2 second scene that took the CGI team 6 months to make.
Andrew Garfield deserves his flowers. That man is an ACTOR 🫶🏾
oh i'ts full of fan service but that doesn't take away the fact that it's iconic
it should be illegal for your hair to look this good
4:30 I don't love Dr strange but my love for Benedict (mostly bc of sherlock) overpasses everything that character does
Yeah I liked him from Sherlock too fr
as a fan, I can say that it was iconic and that I was served
It was iconic and fan service your honor. Love and lust can coexist 😵💫💖🥰
The back crack thing was a nod to tobey hurting his back filming his Spider-Man movies. I think he almost didn’t film either 2 or 3 because of his back.
i don’t wanna say i NEED a daredevil (2015-2018) commentary from you (i think the audience demands it tho), but i just need to know that you will watch it at some point
Yes
well then I'M gonna say I NEED TRIN TO DO A DAREDEVIL COMMENTARY because that would save me
You ask if the government forgets him as well and the answer is that's the only way this movie works. Every last physical and digital trace along with all memory of Peter Parker is gone. Otherwise Mysterio's video exposing Peter would still be out there, his school records, everything is gone.
Yeah I was gonna say that too. Any identification, video, picture, and evidence that Peter Parker is Spider-Man is erased.
Making everyone forget what Mysterio revealed would fix it. That way, everyone who knew he was Spiderman due to the reveal would forget, but everyone who knew prior to the reveal wouldn't.
I agree with your take on strange. i cringe so much with his dialogues ( "the illumiwhati" i died with that.)
Also i think may absolutely died from the drone.
everyone knows its most definitely fan service but its also everything we've all ever needed.
I love doctor strange 🤷♀️ sorry not sorry. For sure the writing could be better but his character is what plays to the “incursions” and though he’s a good guy, he has to make antihero decisions. Also without doctor strange there wouldn’t be any cool effects in the movie. By the way in the comics he dates dormamu’s niece? I think. That’s who the purple chick is at the end of the multiverse of madness. 😊
not enough ppl criticize dr strange so ty for being so real🙌🏾
I love your whole vibe when you watch movies it’s just iconic!!
That apartment fight made the movie a 9.5 alone - one of the best, brutal fights I've seen Spider-Man in.
COMPLETELY agree with the singular universe morals to multiverse problems point. it felt nearly dismissive of tobey and andrews spidermen bc its nearly implying they didnt try hard enough or werent as morally just as mcu spiderman, when the stories in those universes were set to happen that way despite the effort of spiderman!
the doctor strange drags are so pleasing to my soul! trin you are so real in this video
Trin hating dr. strange for 36 mins straight
the scooby doo scene would have been better if it was a callback to tony and peters convo in infinity war when peter says “technically this is all your fault”
Trin and I have such similar thought processes and I love watching these movie commentaries. It’s nice having my feelings put into words but it’s also cool seeing things from a different perspective, when I don’t completely agree.
I was an emotional wreck in the theater for this movie 😭
Love you Trin
really happy how trin really is fighting for andrew's amazing spiderman because SAME. We need a 3rd installment!!!
Isn’t every popular movie technically “fan service”? And movies dont necessarily even have to make sense. The point is entertainment. Folks go to the movies to forget reality for a bit.
I loved how Trin was just having a gay moment for Zendaya never related to someone as well as her✨🌈✨
Not 30 and up 😂😂 I’m 23 and Toby was my first Spider-Man too. I loved the first movie and second movie as a child
Is it just me out the simple fact this happens makes it iconic
Killing that bug on the couch xD
Some scenes are fan service but I really think the movie as a whole was iconic. So good
"why would i love to be punched by spiderman like that" .. TRIN JHDKJSDKL
YESSSSS idc if I just started the video, I already love the commentary 😍😍 THANK YOU TRIN 💕❤️💕❤️💕❤️
The last 30 minutes of this movie I was in genuine tears and my husband was like what is wrong with you woman
honestly i love these vids on the couch. real cozy vibes
This was so iconic to see in theaters. I was one of "those people" who cheered when I saw the other Spider Men
i love this format! its like a reaction and we watch it with you but since yo watched it before you have this well formed opinions (almost like an analysis so its 2 in 1)
I loved it being a 90s baby who was a kid when Toby's Spiderman came out
TRIN you are not okay for this LMFAOOO 15:10
Oml, I just came back to your channel after so long and saw you reacted to this movie and clicked instantly on it. I have been in love with Garfield’s version of the Webhead in the Amazing Spider-Man duology so any chance to get to see it again in any capacity is phenomenal. I’m so happy to see you reacted to this! Let’s go!
P.S. I wish Andrew got his full trilogy but… I’m not sure if it ever happens. But one thing I do know is that no matter what… Garfield is such a phenomenal actor, I have no doubt he would carry the film to be… Amazing.
I seriously dont understand this idea that "fanservice" is a horrible thing that ruins the movie. the whole point of fanservice is to make fans happy why do people think that it ruins the movie
If ALL the movie is is fanservice then yeah, obviously its a sucky a movie. but nwh and other films are SO MUCH MORE than that. literally what is the issue if there is fanservice in the movie. literally how does it negatively affect the quality of the movie and your enjoyment of it.
IM ON MY HANDS AND KNEES BEGGING YOU TO WATCH “EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE” IT CHANGED MY LIFE MADE ME LAUGH AND CRY
Can't believe no one talks about the part when Tobey Peter stops Tom Peter from killing Green goblin Tobey didn't need to say a word but know how Tom Peter feels about revenge
The issue is if there's anything beyond just the fan service. This one they had some deep character moments where each of the spider-men supported the other and understood them in a way only a fellow spider-man could. When you put the fan service front and center and use the hell out of it, then it's good. But several things in the latest Ghostbusters simply seemed to just be fan service. It didn't have as much depth for me.
I think Aunt May died from the glider because she didn't fly that far from the stinky bomb, and the glider as we've seen before can kill people pretty well......
finally someone understands my hatred for doctor strange, i feel like if i say anything i get doxxed💀
I have to admit when Ned opened Andrews Spider-Man portal I didn’t even recognize it was him at first til everyone in the theatre started freaking out 💀
Aka Trin complaining about Doctor Strange for 35 minutes and 15 seconds
