I love how Matt and Abby go out of their way to give us their best content by buying a bunch of food and trying it, yet in their last vlog I think it was they were saying how they were gonna be real with us and told us food was very expensive and that they are having some trouble. haha love watching you guys eat hawaii fast food! You could totally do a video on just 7-11 stuff! BUT! You guys need to try Zippys. Their chili is famous and they sell it frozen in stores because a lot of Hawaii residents bring it back to the states. If you go, try the chili moco or the korean friend chicken! AND! You need to go find a Leonard's Malasada truck! It's a portuguese donut, I think you will love it! the custard filled one is the best! Looks like you guys are on the North Shore so Kaneohe is your closest Zippys and Leonard's Malasada truck!

As an Irish girl I got SO EXCITED when the map of Ireland popped up 🇮🇪👏🏻😂😂 Especially because it was a map outline of just the Republic of Ireland and didn't include Northern Ireland (which is under British rule which some people don't know). I'm not sure if yous did that intentionally but it was sweet to see it for once. It really is the little things 🥰 hehe I looove your guys videos and appreciate all the hard work you put into your content. You're such positive lights in this world. @@WWIIDDSS doesn’t really have a meaning but like for example: when you’re at an event and cheering someone on, you’d hear someone yell like “yeah” or “woohoo” maybe but we yell “chee-hu.” people usually do it for celebration or just for fun

Try Li Hing Mui on pineapple it’s really unique to Hawaii. Also, Maui onion chips or go to local supermarket and get a Maui onion and cook with it it’s got a very unique taste. Then there’s your typical fresh coconut water in a coconut, Hawaii macadamia nuts, and anything taro. Keep up the awesome vlogs! Love you guys!! ♥️
I totally agree about the seaweed! I tried it one time and honestly at first I was thinking it's going to be disgusting but I'll try it and I ended up loving it! I really didn't expect to like it
I love that y’all moved to Hawaii. I was born and raised there and haven’t been able to go back home to see family since 2019 so I’m sooo homesick. You guys grabbed a lot of local favorites. Idk if you’ve had it yet, but Shimazu’s shave ice was near my house growing up and it is the BEST shave ice and you have like 30+ flavors to choose from. Definitely check it out while you’re there. I probably wouldn’t recommend the “Larry” which is like an XXL size unless you’re super hungry! But whatever you get, add condensed milk, mochi balls and ice cream, you won’t regret it.
Also I recommend taking a date night at Shirokiya, it’s basically a food court but with good priced drinks and tons of delicious food options. Get some boba milk tea or fruit smoothie while you’re at it.

You should try rainbow drive-in and have their loco moco! Delicious. And there is a donut place not far from there that had guava filled donuts, not sure of they still have that flavour but they have amazing donuts. 😊 enjoy

i’m from oahu! and i know you guys are on the north shore and giovannis shrimp which is on the north shore is soooo good. you have to get the garlic shrimp and they load you up with rice and like a dozen jumbo shrimp. i would suggest going to the food truck in kahaluu because there are 2 locations :) it’s my absolute favorite shrimp in the world!!!

Try Hawaiian dishes as well! Like poi! It's a creamy paste eaten with two fingers!! It's a must have!
Also, the master of shave ice is a place, Uncle Clay's. Do try it. They make their own syrups, all natural. Knowing you guys, you will love the place and also Uncle Clay. Tbh,not just him, the whole family is a bundle of joy ❤️
ALSO GO TO GJS HULI HULI. They have great pork ribs, chicken, fried banana,
And also, there are some dishes that are not Hawaiian by origin but are equally popular like chicken waffles, nishime (not that popular but it's like Hawaii in a bowl because it's got so much culture in it) The Feeding Leaf, Kona, is popular for nishime, chicken waffles, okazu, Poi)
There's a fab place to eat in Hawaii, the River Cafe.

you can make your own kalua pork nachos. just buy kalua pork and lomi salmon at Sam’s, or any grocery store. cook the pork, when assembling have your chips, melt the cheese, then add your pork and lomi salmon. i love it with sour cream and guacamole! welcome to Oahu!!

Yummy in the Tummy! I love spam. I would eat spam with toast bread either with scrambled eggs or overeasy eggs. You can buy a can of spam at the grocery store. I like the the tocino spam.

If you really want to try tasty Hawaiian food, you guys should go to Zippy's! Its a fast food chain only in Hawaii and their food is soo good! Also Rainbow Drive-In has multiple locations across the island, go to Tamura's or Foodland for fresh poke and end it with some shave ice.
