"Kiss from a Rose" is a song from British singer-songwriter Seal's second eponymous album (1994). The song was first released as a single in July 1994 by ZTT, Sire and Warner Bros., and included in the film The NeverEnding Story III that year. It was re-released a year later in 1995 as part of the Batman Forever film soundtrack, helping it top the charts in the United States and Australia. The song also reached the top 10 in several other countries, including Canada, France, Iceland and Norway. At the 1996 Grammy Awards, it won awards for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.

I danced with my son to this song at his wedding. The sweetest dance from a gentleman I have ever experienced. Such a lovely feeling I get when I hear this song. It was 12 years ago and he is still very happily married with a beautiful family. My Batman! Great song Seal!!!!!!!

Long ago, I was with a beautiful woman from college and she read me a poem. And in the poem, she used the word 'grey'. I asked grey? She said, the grey is the unknown. Her name, Cynthia Rose. And I believe she died of a broken heart disease. It's her communicating from the afterlife by way of her spirit. I live on the coast, I'm the greying tower on the sea, I'm 6-2.
