I was at this show. Filmed at Poughkeepsie civic center. White Lion opened for them. WL sounded like a completely different band than what became popular a few years later.
This song kicks ass!!!! Even in April 2021!!!! 1985!! Me and my friends in my used white 'Rabbit' (now Golf) which had a new Pioneer car stereo and Speakers plugged in and this was the song I first played!!!! Next song was Lay It Down!!!
Great rock! Headhunter...the cassette... got used up a few times in my in my old trans am...like a bigger, badder non mulleted Joe dirt!!! One of the few 80's hair bands I never got a chance to see live...they sounded good live here...
Fernando Von Arb is the SH*T! Saw them live and I was on the front row and he got too close. During the middle of his solo I grabbed his whammy bar on his strat and started making it go WAH-WAH-WAH! LOL! He wasn't a happy camper but he didn't stop me! Cool dude!
Yeah, that's great drumming. I remember (little known fact) when Jeff played with an Illinois-based r&b-type band called George Faber & Stronghold. Great then too!!
I watched x factor last night. After watching this, I wish Marc all the kudos he deserves for being such a talent live. Even if I am many years too late on this comment, for a band to pull of songs live like this is an oddity now.
Yes they are. They had a reunion this year with the 82' lineup (everybody you see in this video except the drummer, which is now Freddy Steady again) and are currently working on a new album hopefully coming in 2009. Then there will also be concerts.
Yeah Krokus i saw them in a scabby night club in doncaster around 1977 yeah me RD 400 siezed up on the way back to York UK at 3am God they were very loud live!
loved this song and eat the rich, i had the tape as a kid myself, first time i ever remember seeing a video for them though, pretty funny. Krokus all the way!!
I agree, their voices were similar and it would seem obvious that Storace was 'the man for the job'. The problem is, that ACDC never asked him to audition, so he didn't. I always say that: I know that Krokus seems like a poor man's ACDC, but just listen to their album Headhunter and you will know that, for a very short time, they were up in rock heaven and made a fantastic metal album. So I'm glad Storace didn't leave, and they're still kicking it to this day.
I had this album. They never were super big but kicked ass. I can't remember for sure I saw so many metal shows in the 80s. Seems like they opened for Priest or Maiden?
Dokken and Krokus were the two most under-rated bands of the 80's. Krokus fuckin' rocks and anyone who doesn' think so is just plain wrong!
Truer words were never spoken. Krokus and Dokken are my bread and butter of the 80's!
Yeah… Head hunter was the best though, that whole album was a GEM.
I seen em when they opened for KISS during the Animalize Tour. AWESOME concert!!!
this song is underrated for kickass rock songs of all time
Fernando Von Arb was really an underrated guitarist in his time...love this stuff...great album, too!
He plays classical guitar too. Very underrated guitarist.
HEAVY METAL NEVER DIES !!!
Saw these guys open for Def Leppard years ago and they blew them off the stage. Krokus made DL look like rookies on stage.
Sure😂😂😂
Marc Storace could have easily been the choice for AC/DC after Bon passed...
I think that would have been a better choice than Brian Johnson.
He was asked to audition but knocked it back.brian did Allright though .
One of the most underrated bands of the 1980's. I love these guys!
very underrated
Love em for more than 30+ years! Mr.Storace has an unique voice.
Me too.

one of my favorite songs from the 80's.These guys rocked as did all of the 80's music.Nothing like this garbage of today.
I always thought Joe Pesci was a great actor, but he was an equally talented heavy metal frontman imo.
Love me some Krokus great band great music
Great song. Resembles a bit to Priest's Exciter.
Demian Silva I noticed that too and maybe a little bit to Painkiller
Killer Song. Krokus is a Great Swiss Band.

Still great after all those years.
These guys were goddamn amazing!!This is very much a speed metal song. The drumming sounds like Exciter(Judas Priest)

Awesome!
The drumming is insane on this one, is that Freddy Steady ? Krokus had some line-up changes around this time i think...
He´s Jeff Klaven, the drummer
They had some good songs in their own right. I listened to Change Of Address a million times. Great album.

Screaming stuff! The thunder drum intro is cleaner on the album but it is still an excellent recording. Krokus really rocks the place out!
I had this album. They never were super big but kicked ass. I can't remember for sure I saw so many metal shows in the 80s. Seems like they opened for Priest or Maiden?
