Great video. I want to add here whqt i hv read about venus. Venus represents love. When in Taurus he loves pleasure of senses e.g food and luxuries. When in Libra loves socialising. related to exaltation principles, what I read from a book by Janardhana Kurup.
I have read some explanation on the following lines ( long back)
The exaltation and debilitation has to do with the nature of the planet Fiery/airy /watery/earthy etc
primarily and corresponding nature of the sign.
The Sun, fiery planet gets exalted in another fiery house, Aries. He is also a friend of the Lord of
the house, Mars. Sun represents the King and he needs the services of the Army Commander( Mars) more
rather than the Preceptor, Jupiter who is the Lord of another Fiery house. He submits to the army chief
with complete faith as the chief fully accepts the king’s leadership.
The Moon, watery planet gets exalted in Taurus because the Lord is another watery planet and the house
is also a feminine house. The lord Venus is also a feminine planet. However since Venus is also
inimical to Moon, the natives with exalted Moon would not have complete peace of mind. Also the star
would be Krittika owned by Sun , a fiery planet. The native would therefore would be happy even in
houses of those whom he does not like. Moon thinks that Venus may not do any severe damage since he is
a natural benefic.
Mars gets exalted in Capricorn. It is an inimical house. It is the nature of soldier to encounter
enemies. Not only that, the lord of exaltation house, Saturn, is also a natural malefic. (The valour
Mars exhibits in enemy camps is analogous to Lord Krishna who annihilated Kamsa in his own palace. The
Lord had Mars in Capricorn! Rather this was the fiercest direct physical encounter the Lord had.
Everywhere else he mostly fought tactical and strategic war)
Mercury gets exalted in on house, Virgo. He can not get comfort in others’ houses more than his own.
The natives will get happiness along with good results. The person will have a nature of not involving
in other’s affairs. His own house Gemini is not MT( Moolatrikon) or exaltation for anybody. Therefore
he may be introvert and feminine in nature.
Since Jupiter is also owner of a watery house, Pisces, he gets exalted in Cancer and is comfortable
there too. In Queen’s house, and center’s of power, the preceptor is a welcome guest. He gets
appreciation and wealth from the hosts due to the scholarship in every science. Everybody desires for
his company.
Venus gets exalted in Jupiter’s watery house, Pisces. Though he is not owning any watery house, Since
he himself is a watery planet, he will be happy there. Since the house is also of a natural benefic,
Venus will bestow ample pleasure to the native. However Jupiter is an enemy. Still due to his satwaguna
he will comfort Venus, the guest. Athithi devo bhava is the principle of Aacharya! Therefore Jupiter is
a notch higher in beneficence!
Saturn who has MT in an airy house, and more airy by nature, gets exalted in airy house Libra . Since
gets exalted in friend’s house, he is able to rise his qualities when accompanied by friends. However
his friends get bad name or results due to their karma . But honourable friends will help Saturn

I have one way of thinking for Sun and Saturn and Mars.
Aries is the first sign and eastern most zodiac,Sun basically rises in the east.And Saturn just the opposite,darkness is in the west.And uttarayana sun moving from south to north is considered auspicious.Mars rules south and is stronger in the southern most sign Capricorn.

Saturn is made for whole universe, for other animals and humans too, if other animals do sex in limited months and season than why Saturn is debilitated in libra.? is Saturn only applicable to human.?
to add another level to this analysis the bhava in which the planet is sitting in the rashi chart should reveal another layer [of course which nakshatra and its pada is sitting in] so that means 1st layer is rashi 2nd layer the planet 3rd layer nakshatra 4th layer nakshatra pada 5th layer and the 6th layer which bhava
sir if in a chart jupiter is debilitated in the 3rd house , saturn debilitated in the 6th house and mars debilitated in the 9th house conjunct venus . what can be said about that person ? how to judge this chart ? venus in debilitated in the 7th house in navamsa getting aspected by jupiter from the 1st house .
I so wish English subtitles could be added to this video and others from Sunil. SMA brings out such great information but much of it is lost in translation, or there is no translation into English.

Mercury Gemini (3rd , Fun , hobbies ) and Virgo ( 6th , Conflicts , Give attention , Repetitive work) and almost all Planets have same nature

Saturn is exalted in Libra because Libra is seventh sign in natural zodiac and seventh sign is all about "for the people "just opposite to Aries or ascendent, ascendent is I and Libra is outer world , people to deal with or masses,
SATURN policy is all about for the people but when deeds become governed for I only which is first sign then Saturn is said debilitated....
exalation and debilitation of planets is only related with soul which is Sun so with point of reference to soul planet are debilitated or exalted...
