I think Raiden's chapter may be my favorite in the story. Tons of Game of Thrones feels with the bantering between the Earthrealmers and Outworlders. The environment and atmosphere, too.

this game's story mode was much stronger in the first half. Once they got out of Shang Tsung's prison, it started to get worse in my opinion

@@gamecrusher5454I dunno because MK11 has Kitana referenced as Kitana Kahn. Kotal and Shao aren’t really referenced as anything else so I assume Kahnum is unisex

Raiden's chapter was exepctional in terms of the number of characters he fight, unlike the others. It was like 2 chapters mixed into one.

I feel like Raiden was letting Kung Lao win at first to save his ego and probably so he doesn’t keep asking for rematches, but when Raiden learns he could be a earthrealm champion he decided screw his feelings I wanna have the victory.

How did Li Mei even become First Constable? After what happened in the past with Jerrod, I would think she would be hated all over Outworld.
Like how Lui kang use Raiden line to new era Raiden pretty much show how much impact Lord Raiden have on Lui Kang despite the down fall they have back then

What happened to Raiden in the end? Did I miss some important cut scene or did he just disappear from the story at some point? There is no Raiden in the final scenes? Did he die or what happened?😂
He reappears before Smoke, Scorpion, and Sub-Zero go on their mission and when Shang Tsung and Quan Chi try to destroy the gateways.

Well, it does seem that Liu Kang is setting up Raiden to take his place in this new era as its Chosen One.
I love how Liu Kang tells Raiden “I would never send my champion’s unwittingly into Mortal Kombat”, when Raiden from the OG timeline did exactly that. Johnny Cage thinking it was all an act and bad visual effects lol

I don't know if anyone notices this but 15:00 and 15:06 definitely shows that Liu Kang is so much different than God Raiden. While God Raiden worries so much about everything, Liu Kang is more positive and respecting of people's limitations, by assuring them that they can only focus on now and not worry about the next outcomes.

I think this is a wonderful exploration as to a new future while still showing homage to the past.
Mortal Kombat has really good world building, would be amazing if the developers would make a game based of you exploring the World, basically like an RPG game.
