EastEnders - Alice Branning’s Best Moment - “I Want To Go Home!!” (4th November 2013)

- Clip from a very underrated but somewhat one of the best moments of ‘EastEnders’ - taken from November 4th 2013’s episode where Alice Branning (My All Time Favourite Character) is framed by the evil murderous Janine Butcher for killing her own husband, Michael Moon, on Halloween 2013.
In the aftermath of his murder, poor Alice is wrongfully arrested, charged, and held-on-remand by the stupid incompetent Walford Police, Alice starts to break down and screaming “I Want To Go Home!!” repeatedly, begging to be released and protesting her innocence.
While Janine evilly walks out the police station triumphantly with her baby daughter Scarlett and ignores Alice’s pleas coming from inside the interview room, thinking she’s got away with murder again. But not for very long as she would later be arrested and tried for Michael’s murder which she and Alice were both found, not guilty of.
When I first watched this scene, it broke my heart, and even though I swore to myself, I would never watch this scene again because I found it too upsetting. But looking back at it now I realized it was only acting and I think it was one of the best moments out of ‘EastEnders’ in my opinion and the acting from Jasmyn Banks (Who played Alice Branning) was incredible.
Although I do believe the scene to be Criminally Underrated, and I think it deserves a lot more recognition from the ‘EastEnders’ Fanbase in general.
Nevertheless it was also the main reason Alice became my all time favourite ‘EastEnders’ character in the first place after I took this and her storyline too much to heart & Jasmyn Banks became my favourite actress since then and to me she’s absolutely wonderful 💚
I do hope she does return to ‘EastEnders’ at some point in the future, but in the meantime I’ll keep on watching Jasmyn Banks’ subsequent Film and TV appearances to date and she’ll always be my favourite actress.

That proved incorrect Alice branning never killed Michael moon at all it was Janine butcher that killed him not Alice the police officers should’ve told her that we are gonna release you without charge not charge her with murder because that is completely wrong and Alice is the innocent bystander it was that murderer Janine butcher that needs to be charged with murder and they should’ve put janine in prison for the rest of her life instead of that poor Alice branning
