It wouldn't have been obvious to me either until he was on the news. I mean after all though we know he was lying he could have been telling the truth - he was calm and she was hysterical and what he said about the accident and the hut in the woods was partially true.
Sharon Sheehy She was not very popular with the general audience and the robron fans and emmerdale started losing awards voted for by the public, if you notice from the ONS episode till her last day it’s been poor Rebecca, they figured if they make her lose her family, retcon Robert forcing an abortion 🙄(like a woman would have anything to do with a guy who forced her to have an abortion much less have unprotected sex with him) people would feel sorry for her then they gave her brain damage that still didn’t work so they had is she alive a total of 7 yes seven times from her nephews tried to kill her in jan2018 till she was freed in October. They made her a constant victim which pissed people of even more. They thought if we given her BI they will stop but then they would write her with perfect memory and no symptoms of BI like when she recalled her kidnapping in perfect details to the cops. It just so happened when she left emmerdale won at the DS awards voted for by the fans they lost everything the year before, except one award I believe. Interesting fact in dec 2018 ED won again at the DS Awards and also came second for most bizarre storyline of all four soaps can you guess what the storyline was? Is Rebecca alive for the 6 or seventh time. At that point as the article said no one cared.
I quite like Rebecca's outfit (yellow kimono, grey t-shirt, blue jeans, silver pumps). This is the last we see of them. What do Lachlan/the nurse do with the clothes? Store or destroy them? Pity they didn't put the colourful attire back on Bex before they attempted to flee.
