the handling and physics was so cancer bad in tdu2 and the car sounds were so robotic when you shifted the sound warped immediately and clutching did nothing to alleviate that

DriveClub was ahead of it's time, but FH2 tho, that game look better than any modern racing game. TDU2 was the king of everything tho, made with less bugdet but it's quantity over quality and that's why i love it.

Evolution studios should’ve posted the sound files for any company to use their car sounds. Such a waste for a game like Driveclub to just be shut down and thrown out the window by Sony.
They are being used by Codemasters.

Well IMO, DriveClub still on top in terms of sound and graphics. Imagine what they can do with PS5 if Evo studio who made it, still exist.
I definitely prefer dc in terms of rain and stuff, but for me 2012 nfs makes the cut. But this is just my opinion. If only mw 2012 had rain like driveclub's.

For me Forza Horizon 1 was alway like sort of a very big demo of what Playground Studios were capable of... and then they bring us Forza Horizon 2 and it was like a next gen game could be! But after 2014 everything went down and Forza games were the definition of downgrade!

Maybe it'll be GRID itself, I mean Dirt 5 has turned into something that Evolution Studio would have made in the first place (and it's very possible that they're among the devs who worked on it) so who knows?

Nfsmw 2012 : nfsmw12 has one of the best sound recordings in a racing game (here's a prof czcams.com/video/ImcXz6NgsNU/video.html ) the one used in the video is modified and that's why sounds like it has a racing gearbox.

@@AhmadGalalYT It's almost like the M838T and M840T are similar engines... they're not 100% identical sounding but easily similar enough to warrant using the same sound.
FH4's 720S still sounds closer to a 12C than FH2's 12C.

Mclaren and Koenigsegg, nothing authentic with v8 engine sound. Except Ferrari V8 and Other car manufacture with V10 or above.
Koenigseggs, NA Ferrari V8s, Vettes, Gt350 and Hellcat are the best sounding V8s imo
