Misaki is the one who holds the pair together in this match. Many shaky moments from Mayu, but her power smashes and the steadiness of Misaki pulls her through. Mayu smashes are lethal, so satisfying to watch.
Misaki works really well from the back of the court in this match, I'd say much better than when she was with Ayaka Takahasi. Also, she made almost no service error, which proves that her focus on Mix double lately has sharpened her serve up. Give Misaki a partner with powerful smashes (like what Mayu does here), she will be back in the top 10 WD in no time.

Misaki said she will not play WD anymore because the retirement of Takahashi. She will only play with Takahashi in WD as a fixed pair.
