I think the reason DD’s and Pico’ faces were blurry is because it was so long ago the details are becoming fuzzy. Which also implies that Bf hasn’t seen DD since he beat him in the rap battle.
but think about it he see's DD in week 5 for cristmas remember?
so that explains why each opponent looks way more clearer
It also implies something kinda sad. Lemon demon's face wasn't blurry at ALL meaning Bf remembered him all too well since he's terrifying
But it’s sadder that he rembers lemon demon better than tankman which was the last official enemy he faced

When bf was fighting the bots at 12:11 they made smash ultimate reference. I really like that idea.

Casually gives a gun to a fire powered living bomb that is literally flying not like his fire powers as he throws towards Bf during the first video existed.
Imagine if Whitty joins Updike's organization after reasoning and making amends with him. They both grow up as a friends and partners and protect innocent people of the city and their loved ones from real monsters (like Lemon Demon, IRIS, Tabi, etc). This is dope idea for another animation or a mod.

Y'know, I'm pretty sure that in the original files of when the whitty mod(with cloud guy in it) the cloud guys name was actually Updyke instead of Updike. I just searched it and it's actually both. In my opinion, I prefer Updyke.
Btw, Updyke is the old name
That changed when the first version of Remorse was released. Updyke was actually the beta design's name. Sock decided to change it because of the slur.

Also, this was based on the old lore:
Whitty was created as a doomsday device by an apocalypse cult, but the lab he was grown in was abandoned during a raid, so Whitty woke up all alone. He picked up a nametag and left the lab, roaming the streets and learned to read and speak on his own. And the nametag said "Whitmore" and decided that this will be his name. In the meantime Updike also heard about the cult and Whitty beig a rouge experiment, still out there. But the task force wasn't formed *because of* Whitty. He just happened to be one of many potential threats and while Updike hates the job in general, he can't allow ayone to be hurt.
So he went out every day, capturing those who could be contained safely, and killing those that endanger the lives of those who work with the organization (You'd have to crazy to think you can contain a creature that has the blast range of a nuke without consequences to your employees in case it explodes.)
The Date Week mod already showed us that a sudden spike of emotinal instability is more than enough to set Whitty off, and while Gabriel knows Whitty doesn't *want* to hurt anyone, grey morality won't allow him to risk it.
Example of grey morality: The train is about to hit five people who were tied to the tracks. You can redirect the train, but you will still end up letting one person get hit, who was also tied to the train. The question is whether or not you will pull the lever. Now reimagine this with the main scenario.
Option A: You are someone in some control over fates. You can decide to save an etire city by killing one potential threat, meaning you played the "better safe than sorry" card. But thr people will shun for killing someone simply because they refuse to understand the situation at stake.
Option B: You can sit back and watch, aware of several possible outcomes and hope everything goes well. But if the worst case scenario does indeed play out, and you let people know you knew this would happen, again you will be shunned for being remiss by those same people. And you could say anything, you could tell them about how the alternative would be just as bad, deep down you will know that they are right because you were indeed remiss.
So before calling him a jerk, or a murderer, remember that he is the one forced to keep choosing between two evils and he will keep choosing the "safer" options because unlike those who hate him, he knows that tens of thousands of lives are lost if he makes just one mistake. And yet his conscince is eating at his soul every single day because while his motive is a genuinely good one, the methods he has to use are close to immoral.

He didn't add the part where he has to choose whether one life is worth thousands of others in greater detail. Because if he chooses the people he will get all the hate for being a murderer. And if he chooses to spare Whitty and something happens, he will be called remiss for not doing anything. And even if he tries to explain how the other situation would result in the same hate the people won't listen. And that is seriously a troubling thought that no matter what you do people will hate you for it and if you do the opposite those same people will still hate you.
And what is more difficult than having to decide between two evils, knowing that either way you will get the backlash without a chance to even make your case and doing this on the daily?
