This all depends on one thing, what your disability rating is. If you’re a 0, then it’s basic at best. If you’re higher then you get more benefits. Which is stupid in my opinion. We all served, we should all get the same treatment

Hey buddy, I had three Coast Guardsmen I served with that died in the line of duty. One in my arms. Coast Guard served in every military action for our country. Not including us as veterans is a great insult to the United States Coast Guard and our Country. You owe every Coast Guardsman an apology.

Basically every time I request help to base my claims the people at the VA get hostile and refuse to provide me with the valuable information that I need to support my claims.

You are asking the wrong people man. That’s why they get hostile. Watch videos like this one, you may want to check combat craig’s vids as well, and get a VSO to assist you in your claims. Whenever you see any VA provider under no circumstances talk to them about claims, since they are NOT there to help you with claims. Get as much evidence about your ailments and get with a VSO.

The wife of a deceased bet is not allowed Homecare. In 2014, my husband was sick of heart condition and blind. I could not work because I had to take care of my husband. Now I need a caregiver to help me I am not entitled to caregiver. It's not fair. My sons cannot care for me because they have to work. I am left struggling with daily living with no help. What can I do?

@@charlinhealthservices No, the Coast Guard is officially recognized as a branch of United States military service. Coast Guard veterans are eligible for VA benefits regardless of which VA. They just have to meet the same eligibility requirements as any other veteran.

Unfortunately there are the unscrupulous individuals who will hold a sign saying homeless veteran please help well most of the time that is BS because of all the benefits you just listed! One guy claimed, after I questioned him that the VA would not give him his records and being a veteran myself this claim is BS well he got irritated with me because I didn’t believe his lie
