Great point about quarterback, tennis, and baseball playing into the swing. I drive like a baseball swing with a very wide stance as if I were stepping into the ball, but you can’t move your hips like he says. Also lacrosse. The ball releases the head of the stick just like it contacts the face of the club. Approach angles, spin, velocity, they’re all tied into the release. The hand placement for lacrosse is exactly the same as a golf club only elevated of course. It’s not like a baseball grip at all cuz your hands are directing the ball rather than gripping the stick

“ I want to make this permanent “ “why do you say that? “ looks down, and like a child says “I don’t know. “ We can all relate to that statement!

As someone who has gone from about a 35 handicap to 20, 107 down to 92, it is a long term process unless you can play several times a week. But it is fun when your buddies or family notice your improvement because you won’t notice it yourself on the cards unless you stack up a few years worth of numbers to see the drastic change. If charles barkley can improve so can we fellas lol

Can you explain what he did to stop you taking it away inside? You mentioned weight shift, was that it?

Remember kids. Face reacts to path. Path is most important. And -3 inside out is not ideal actually..depends on how much shaft you have a club face direction around hip high

I was so excited for this episode but came out disappointed.. I feel like the whole thing should have been posted rather than snippets? This video is more showing snippets of your journey, as opposed to being helpful for golfers...

Can anyone else hear a really piercing, silent but clearly there noise in the background from time to time? It's making me skip parts of the video because it sounds like one of those really high-pitched ringtones that were popular 15 years ago that "only young people" could hear.

This guy seems informative but I want to help you break 80 so if I may help. It starts in your right wrist. Put your hands together like you’re gripping a club. Your right wrist should be set more vertical where that thumb is going into the air versus the right thumb going straight back. During the swing this should happen during the takeaway, and the left wrist will follow along and naturally bow.. Now create said wrist tension, and bend your right arm at a 90 degree angle from your body. That left arm should be slightly bowed, now turn on your spine, and keep the head still. This is the position you want. Now go take a 7iron to the range and hit every single ball on a “half” swing where your right elbow doesn’t leave your right hip on the way back. You’ll be impressed how far and consistent you can hit it from this position after a while. Good luck.
