Survivor in a nutshell:
Russell: you're doing it wrong.
Sandra: she's doing it right.

And like it or not, how the jury feels about you IS a factor for winning. If they hate your guts, you've dug your own grave.

Russel: "I don't play like that." THEN HOW THE F DO YOU EXPECT TO WIN? Everyone seems to love Russel but he is one of the worst survivor players of all time.

Sandra is the Queen, even tho I love Parv, but 2 for 2 there is just no beating it...& Russell needs to understand that the social game is most important, other than that, you're just playing to get to the end & not to win.

Russell is confusing having a huge sense of entitlement with being a great player. It is his problem if the Jury is bitter. For example, he should have just blindsided Danielle instead of crapping on her at tribal.
@pyroman1000k I totally agree with you. America should have a hand in the vote, and perhaps it will change in the future. Unfortunately it is what it is for now, so until it changes, Russell needs a stragety based on the rules of Survivor today. I agree what you said about the jury. They take it so personal and usually end up voting for the coatails person. Someone under the radar.
@pyroman1000k Problem with that is, Russell is the ONLY finalist ever to complain about the voting process. Even Boston Rob didn't complain.
The front end of Survivor you are fine with. It is the back end that gives you trouble.

russell is so arrogant and egotistic that he fails to see that the socialising is a part of the game. although i am happy sandra won, i still think parvati should've won. she was did what both her rivlas couldnt, i.e socialise and build r/s unlike russell, and performed outstandingly physically unlike sandra. if the jury were able to see how much strategising she did, they would've had second thoughts. but sandra is good too :) anyone but russell.

russel got mvp of the game bcuz hes entertaining. that doesnt mean he should get a million dollars. he cant admit that maybe sandra is a better player than him. no doubt shes a better villain. they defined their villains as people who could decieve and lie, and russel bought everything she told him. he thinks hes the best theres ever been, but there's a reason hes never won. Boston Rob and Amber, Sandra, Ricard Hatch, Rob Cesternino, Jonny Fairplay, - theyre in a league of their own
But the public was not there with him 24/7; these guys were.

@pyroman1000k This was the only way she could play, bacause she was target as the biggest threat since the day 1 till the end. She did it right and no one could do it better.
Russel protected her for a reason. No one would give a idol for nothing. She was smart enough to drawn him. And in a few days, she was already in a better position in the aliance than him, hiding idol and making big moves.
Russell's problem wasn't that he lied and backstabbed yadda yadda yadda.....the issue was that he was mean. He was an asshole. Look at Kim from One World. She backstabbed almost everybody in the game too, but she won because she wasn't a total bitch. She was nice to everybody so nobody on the jury was blinded by rage when they saw her sitting in the F3. Even if Russell played a clean game and didn't backstab anybody....he STILL wouldn't win because he treated everyone like shit.

Russell is one of the BEST strategists of ALL-TIME (not one of the worst). He dominated TWO SEASONS - he is brilliant - but his fatal flaw is he didn't plan well for the JURY's votes - but then again I agree with Russell - SURVIVOR HAS A FATAL FLAW - America should vote too on who wins the $1,000,000 and title as sole survivor.

Well, its been a while now since I´ve watched some old HvV videos. And now, like half a year later, I see that you still are going to every HvV video promoting your article. Boy, Russell must have really had an impact on your life. Stop giving the guy attention and get a life dude, like seriously.

Russell could have won if he took either Danielle or Candice. Sandra doesn't deserve the win, she sat out almost all challenged. Russ targeted Dani for no reason because he wanted Parvati for himself. Dani was not respected by both Heroes and Villains. If Candice, they believe she was a traitor and hated Parvati, Russ could have gotten the Heroes jury votes.

Russell is actually the best. He manages to make it to the end sticking loyal and carrying his alliance against the numbers. Parvati is also a good player. Sandra is a case of "right place at right time".

One of the Worst Survivors of all time. And far from brilliant. Especially when it was he himself who created those odds in the first place. Take away the social butterfly, the tactical specialist, and the Jack-of-all-stats (and especially the hidden immunity idol) and he's nothing more than a paper tiger.
Like he said the saying is OUTWIT OUTPLAY OUTLAST... Thats what the jury should vote for! Its a no brainer, Russell played the best game in 19 and 20. Im tired of the jury giving the title to people that dont deserve to win... Russell deserved it, he revolutionized the game, he is simply the greatest player this game has ever seen. Season 22, they threw the challenge just to get rid of him, that proved to be the worst move as they lost momentum and numbers for the merge... IDIOTS!
