- The first automotive underdogs car review is up and there are loads more to follow i hope you enjoy watching this review on the audi s3 i know we had fun making it i was alittle nervous this being my first review so dont be too harsh videos will only get better with your feedback. Is it better than the golf or 1 series? What would you buy instead and if you have bought one... comment on why so as to help others.

hey man outstanding review, I suggest paying for a slightly better portable HD mic, they run pretty cheap and most with plug into most cameras or you can use the audio independantly, but sound is so impoirtant in car reviews, plus will make your voice clearer!

I have the exact same car best car i have owned and I choose it over the golf R but the golf R is still great but im more than happy with the s3
The S3 is a phenomenal hot hatch +Paul Michael great interior and build quality alot better than the golfs in my eyes...i just had abit more fun in the golf but its all down to personal preference i guess still a great car!
would have been nice to here a nod to vw for the original 4x4 ideas that audi then took and tweaked but just nit picking really..

My s3 standed is 265 mate bhz engine
You can do a stage 1 re map with no modifications and get 300-310 bhp if you were interested
I was just saying mine standard was 265bhp but is 360bhp now thanks anyways

the Audi S3 8P is not quattro as its engine is transverse its actually 4motion, all quattro AWD systems have inline Engines. . .
Older passats up to 2005 have longitudinal mounted engines n the awd was still called 4motion.the quattro system is in the differential itself not in the engine setup
+Andy S it will just be badged that way. all 4motion (haldex) differentials are transverse. longitudal engines will be a torsen based differential. like audis quattro

Good try but the Haldex AWD isnt good. And S3's dont handle like theyre on rails. They suffer from chronic understeer. Doesnt mean it's not a good car just that your analysis of the handling and the AWD system is plain wrong. The AWD system is particularly disappointing in the S3. The rest of the car and in particular, the engine is impressive. The AWD system is definitely not.
