    Excellent, Jim. I am always amazed by how much worthwhile editing information you can pack into a video of modest length. Well prepared. And very well-done. Thanks for the post.

    Great edit Jim! Skylum has really upped their game with Luminar Neo! It almost makes me want to start using the program as often as I did before changing my workflow!

    Thanks Jim for some great ideas. I'm still trying to get my head around the Luminosity. With more practice, I will get there. But, as you say, it is a game changer.

      thanks Maurice and several of my recent videos show luminosity masking in action, which hopefully will help!

    Love all your hint and tips, Jim! So many possibilities with Luminar (enough such that I just canceled my Adobe subscription). I notice all your videos start off with a darker image that you then light up. But can you do more with videos showing how a brighter image (where say, we forgot to protect the highlights) can be perked up?

      Thanks much Carl, glad you are all in with Neo and I will take a look at an image like that to see what I can share. Thanks!

    Awesome, I would have had to try and light the third waterfall closest to you. It may not work don’t know.

      thanks Ken and I can't recall if the luminosity mask picked it up well or not but you can always do it other ways if you need to

    In the Develop Module, Masking does not show up for me for some reason right away. I have to wait several minutes after opening the RAW file for it to appear. When it does, it works as you show.

    • @JimNix
      @JimNix  Před 4 měsíci +1

      On a raw file, inside Develop Raw, there is no masking. You only get to it after using Develop Raw.
