    Hello. Should I be worried if my mchc is Slightly higher of 1g/l only?
    The normal value is 316-354 G/L and my result is 355..

    My MCH level is 26. My labs (including Iron and MCV) are normal. Doctors say I don't have anemia. Is it possible to have low MCH without being anemic? Should I be concerned?

    Another great video 😀 Since im a vet tech i dont know whether the calculations apply, but its very informative nonetheless. Is your primary focus on hematology or do you also plan on diving into serology/clinical chemistry? Again, more medical techs or even vet techs should watch your videos, keep up the amazing work🙂

      haha thank you for the kind words. It just has been a very strange couple of months being stuck at home on my days off that I just decided to go through with this and so far I have just been focusing on Hematology, taking it one topic at a time using the books I have. I may eventually go into other branches but for now I'll start with what I know and truly enjoy doing. Thanks again for the kind feedback it does mean a lot.

    Great video! Is MCH/MCHC used primarily for classifying microcytic anemias or does it also have significance in macrocytic?

    • @ReaNav
      @ReaNav  Před 3 lety +1

      Microcytic means the rbc’s have 110 mcv. 😊 Anemia is gauged on a number of things such as the RBC, HGB, MCH, and MCHC. Dont worry too much about classifying macro and microcytosis because that is pretty straight forward and there are only a couple of macrocytic anemias.
