If memory serves me right, the first game also ended on a called strike. I do think you would have scored a 2nd run on that crazy bunt but I also think you thought you'd get to use the crazy bunt one more time, making it not worth the risk with 2 outs if so. I get it. I think the mistake was the pitch inside to Nagasawa, rather than going outside and playing to the high wall in RF. Too late in the game with that offense for the risk in my opinion. Having said that, with the talent of these two teams, you have to manage pretty perfectly to win. I reward you a Good Will Hunting "It's not your fault". It was a valiant effort, Coach. I do think your first win is coming soon, but not next game. This lineup ain't touching Tim Hudson.
With the pitch to Nagasawa I can’t remember if I truly messed up and pitched inside while she was on open stance or if the CPU just immediately recognized that the pitch would be inside and switched as soon as I threw it. Either way I suppose my luck was bound to run out eventually.
Just found your channel. Good shit, man! I totally forgot about this game that I grew up playing almost every day over a couple summer vacations. Now I'm gonna have to go find this mod for myself! After binging this season I'm excited to see where you go from here!
Thanks! And you don’t have to download anything extra to do what I did here. It can be done within the text files of the game. There’s a custom roster and schedule tutorial online.
It just hit me, a bonafide strat would be to allow your first 5ish hitters to get struck out allowing the CPU to gain special pitches. You could attempt to cash in on those and farm power ups to hopefully dominate the late game

I wish I could create this team, I started playing this game again via download since my CD scratched and wasn't working properly. Everything works fine, but when I go to follow the instructions on how to hack to unlock these players, there's no "Coach" file and I can't figure out how to do it :(
