I'll be needing the biggest muzzle brake available, (comes with?) thanks so much.
It's a Great gun from what I can tell
I need a 457 in stainless please, regular bluing rots in my safe and I'm SICK of it!
what is min./max. length of pull. can you buy a shorter tube for young shooters
I just ordered a long bbl version.
He could pass as your son😂😂
WOW...VERYGOOD
When can I order one in Australia?
CZ: When do you expect to sell this model in Canada?
I wish they would sell this awesome beauty in germany. :´-(
So...what are people using a $1k 22lr for? I’m new to guns and I just don’t understand this investment (and others like it). Are there 22lr compilations out there I’m not aware of? I’m not trying to pick on CZ, My first pistol was a P10c and it’s a great gun.
maybe as a training gun. precision shooting is mostly repetition of breathing and trigger control, so to train that with a visible result you have to shoot something. and .22lr is much cheaper to shoot than the actual match ammo you would use.
however, they call it a varmint rifle. and shooting varmint with a 1000 bucks .22lr is a bit... well... weird? overkill? i can do the same with a 40 yr old single shot .22lr. for less than 100 bucks.
Partly because it’s cool and partly because of competition use. I bought the Precision trainer (manners stock) for those 2 reasons alone. If you only want to hunt with it then this model is not aimed towards you, they do only plan on selling a couple hundred a year unlike their normal 457s which they plan to move at a much higher volume. They are trying to cater to that niche market who doesn’t want to customize it, they want it all custom from the factory
Competition use is the main reason. Keep in mind this won't actually sell for $1000, it'll be more like $850 retail. I have 2 bolt action 22's, a $400 CZ 455 Training Rifle as a retro style plinker and a Browning T-Bolt Varmint/Target. The CZ is setup basically like a military rifle from the 1880's to WW2 and that's why I bought it. The Browning is a $700 rifle with a $250 aftermarket trigger pack and $350 scope + rings. So yeah, $1300 total. That is for precision shooting, whether it be formal competition or just competing against myself. One certainly could go hunting with it, but that's not why I bought it. I bought it to put 10 rounds through one ragged hole at 50 yards while shooting off hand. The rifle is far better at that than I am, but practice makes perfect.
Why spend 900 on this when I can buy a ruger precision rimfire for 300?
@C-Bomb I'm sure that's the case but not 600 dollars better especially when we are talking about 22lr
Even a cz 452,455 can out shoot a Ruger precision... and its not even marketed as a "precision".. 🤣🤣🤣 and theyre in the same price range🤣🤣
@@ravernck I've never seen a Ruger RPR for less than $400, but still, it is a big price difference. The basic CZ 457 is about the same price though and has a better trigger and smoother action. This chassis version basically just adds a $500 chassis to it. Looks like a really solid chassis unlike the cheap plastic Ruger one. I'm giving it a pass though. Currently I use a Browning T-Bolt Varmint/Target with an aftermarket trigger pack for precision 22LR.
@@GrendalTheBeasty not that I'm trying to sell them lol but just making a point
@@ravernck Not a bad deal, $350 is a pretty good price, they go for $400 at my local shop, though after shipping + transfer fee, it's probably $400 still :P.
So they copied the howa mini chassis even with the price tag.
So its a bubbarized 452 derivative?
MRSP $999
It’s very nice, but at less than half the price I’ll stick with my Ruger precision rimfire.
Phix - They’re awesome, but with the precision rimfire I can quickly adjust the stock for my young son :)
@@keithschwartz2858 Think this is just as adjustable, and has a feature to lock the length down for less wobble. Still not worth 3x the amount.
@@keithschwartz2858 That is the question ? Price over quality. The Ruger RPR sure offers so much for the money. CZ gives the quality but 2 times the cost of the Ruger .... that's hard to swallow.
First?
before you guys make videos please take some speech therapy courses for our ears only.
ummm ummm ummm ummm is very irritating to listen too !
Please do it in 22WMR... That would be an amazing rifle. (Plus, I need a new 22 mag rifle...)
