This was actually one of Youngchul's best episodes though. The girls gave him so much airtime
It's not because of the girls though, it's because he became really persistent and patient in this episode which gave him so much air time. I actually think this episode was a hit because of Youngchul, not because of the girls.

2:16~ 이런거 한두번이면 상관없는데 김영철은 3년넘게 당했다...작은말에도 운 이유가 있었네. 김희철강호동이 근처에 있어서 너무 비교된거지 쟤도 예능 못한다고 한번도 생각한적도 없다.(물론 오버한적도 있긴함,,,). 노잼, 하차해라, 비희망짝꿍 등등 맨~날이런말만듣고, 아형 멤버들도 만만히보고 무시하는분위기? 이런걸 무려 ‘3년넘게’ 들으면서도 웃으면서 넘기는건 엄청 대단한거다. 니들이 예능나왔는데 3년넘게 무시,악플을 버틸수있냐? 왠만한멘탈들도 2개월도 못버텨....19년말에 투표할때 운거보고 감정이입잘되더라. 2:19~ 는 원래 절대 웃음이 나올수 없는 상황임.
자기보다 20년 넘게 차이나고, 데뷔한지 1년도안된 햇병아리 후배들이

He is meant to be not funny, annoying and obnoxious. He is the fail-safe option. Guests are meant to make fun of him so that they can feel at ease in the show.
He fails in his role if he becomes too funny. Sometimes he will make an unfunny joke to stop one joke from going too far or take too much time.
In real life, he is a really decent guy and funny according to Heechul.
Sometimes when he fails at being not funny and breaks his character because of unexpected guests' reactions (e.g Apink Ep), he actually gets confused as to how to react back.
Imo, he has the hardest role among the brothers; to be not funny while being a comedian (not Canadian), and not to mention, he has to endure all the insults from the guests as well as the 'brothers'.
@@0P_88 Dude I feel for him. He has to endure all the insults and what not but they need him there to fill that role. It hella sucks to be the fall guy, no one wants to be with him but he has to be there so everyone else doesn't have to.

Even Tzuyu mentioned that at their visits, Yeongcheol was very considerate of her as he kept explaining the jokes for her.
She even said that she would want to sit with him again... and behold, she sat with him 3 times 😂
Bottom line is, those who really know him appreciate him and that's all that matters to him.
@@undrgrnd734 almost all the guests there appreciate Youngchul though. Most are saying if Youngchul is not there , they won't actually get to shine too much . Watch SHINee ep . Almost all of them are with Youngchul since Youngchul is the one who can help them with their jokes. The other brothers make the show funny and Youngchul is the key for it. As per the Bros , KB will not be funny without Youngchul since they will just clash as there is no dark hole 😂 they need one for all of them to shine . And YC shine in his own way
He also likes his character on the show anyway . It makes him stand out 🎉
