Good job Matt! I'm the 'go to' guy in my family, I also help friends who can't or don't know how to fix things around their house, my dad was the same way.
Fixing some thing comes easy for some people, but it gives an object new life, and allows the memories to continue, where otherwise it might need to be tossed.

Every family has a guy with a workshop and $30000 worth of gear 😂
Personally, I don't have nearly that much invested into my shop. One could setup a decent shop for about $1000 and turn out some nice projects. But my point is that there are many ways people can help out those around them. It doesn't have to be in a woodshop.
