I have met a Navy Seal once I was serving in the military, in a NATO exercise. One thing he told us about BUDS is that once one is in, then, he should be ready to give his life instead of quit. If one starts thinking not to give 100% each time and don't willing to die, sooner or later will break and quit.

I have seen a Buds/Seal trainee ringing out of training every time I went to San Diego
I'm no soldier or sort, but this video helps me considerably with how i should plan on what to do at work. Love you guys..
Good sleep is so important for recovery
Canadian Infanteer in training here.. this series is so beneficial. I’ll be up for selection in two years... thank you.
let me know how your selection goes
Bravo to mike and UFPRO for putting this series together!!!
This series was great, i wish there were more episodes
These are great videos! I truly enjoy watching them while rowing
This content was incredible. I love you UF PRO
Best advice on youtube. Thanks so much for making this available to us!
Great kompliment, perfect done. Key message for me, and always my words: A very good athlete is not always a good trainer. The T Plan is excellent. Again, kompliment from a Sports scientist.
I'm not US citizen or trying to apply for any SF unit
I'm attempting selection of British Gurkha and they will only take 230 people out of probably 16K-20K+ applicants this year . I'm sure I can learn alot from you guys which will definitely help me give greater chance of succeeding .
Thankyou sir!
found you!I knew i wont be alone here who's aiming to be a gurkha
Good luck man
Great video. Your videos have been inspiration to my training videos and channel. And yes..preparation, planning and perseverance is key to any success. Stay safe!
Thanks for this series !
Would love to see some future content on swimming!
Another superb video. Thanks very much.
Thanks for delivering this kind of videos 💪😎
One in a million video about great and correct advise. Thank you
This has been extremely helpful in my prep for the Royal Marines. Thank you so much for this series🍻
I'm also watching this because i have applied to the Royal Marines, whats your training program looking like? So far im just running a few times a week and i go gym 6 days a week but am doing muscle building type workouts. I'm still unsure on what kind of program i should be following or what my routine should be?
@@fertim5307 max push up x3/5min break, every morning. Running 3x/week with good technique, pull up 5times a week, max air squat ... if u want big result, just do max rep everytime, and follow ur evolution every month. Then work on strengh growing (bench press, squat, deadlift) and the same day work on push up/pull up max rep. 15 min warm up everytime, work on dips, swimming, jump rope, AMRAP burpees, and dont forget to stretch at the end of every workout.
I hope you have a solid journey in your prep to becoming a Royal Marine. Do you have a structured training plan? Are you interested in one of my FREE training plans? I come from this type of background.
@@optimalreadiness I’m interested in your free training plan. Is it specific to Royal Marines or military in general? What’s your background like?
@@fertim5307 Awesome! My background is US SOF (Marine Recon then SEAL operator). Email me at metacfitness@gmail.com and I will get you all setup and started. I don't want to post my website address on here and get listed as spam.
I think I shall incorporate the 3 weeks on 1 week off. In the past I’ve had trouble with being on a plan for 2-3 months with a deload week every 6 weeks and then I’d find myself being totally unmotivated and not being able to flip the switch on to go to the gym or workout.
You have a really solid thought process regarding training. It is def smart to gradually build for 2-3 weeks using a linear approach followed by a deload. This will help you recover properly and facilitate long-term progress. Are you interested in one of my free training plans?
Very interesting to watch this video
Absolutly best info I found, I improved my training with this video, its awesome, thank you guys!
Thanks for following us 😎🤙
Top Content!
Great stuff 👌
I’m going to basic in 1 month and am actively working towards an SF contract. I’m using a generic Army weight lifting program I’ve modified and my own run/ruck program. I started in general good condition at 10% body fat but this is next level hard AF!
Thank you
Awesome video! Thanks!
😎🤙
Whoever sees this comment, I wish him all the luck in life! Please, keep fighting! You are strong and your future is bright. God bless you!

Excellent video series. Is this video made primarily for European special forces or United States special forces?
Not a program, it has to be a lifestyle. Do it, Be it, Love it, Live it...!
great series, you should do more on other topics
thank you
You are welcome 😎🤙
Song at 7:45 is A Glowing Light, A Promise by Makeup and Vanity Set for all my fellow Synthwave fans
Is this all in one exercise or can this be broken up into the day? The Warmup, Strength, Met, Run, Carry? Thanks.
NOICE 😀
This video helped a lot ti make my training plan which ive been using for more than a year, it comong back to it, i still dont understand some things.
In the column, theres push 1, 10-20 min workout, sprint and 2 other things, are there things you do in that single day? Or is it separated? I also do 1 training day, 1 rest day for physical prep(so abt 4-3 days per week) and then on top i also train everyday almost in combat disciplines like MMA, muyi thai and JJB, and run on a limited sleep schedule due to school, is it good? Or should i change it?
Going to A&S in June so this is a big help
That is awesome! Congratulations, my friend. As a former operator myself, I highly recommend that you get in the necessary miles for rucking in a gradual manner and be sure to wear and fully break in the boots and uniforms you will be wearing during selection. If your feet go, it is going to suck that much worse! Also, durability is key. Within the last few months, you want to focus solely on high-end muscular endurance and volume to strengthen and condition your connective tissue because you are going to be logging some very long and physically intense days. Are you interested in one of my free training plans?
Greetings uf pro, What are good examples of the metcon parts of the training?
So on a full workout day you’re doing a carry and a ruck or sprint or run same time you’re lifting?
Lol Thai was around 25 30 yrs ago burgen on miles in the legs lol, running 🏃♂️ that was it 🤪
Love the german accent xD
Hi Mike, how are you. greetings from Bavaria (Gebirgsjägerbataillon 231 Bad Reichenhall)
How much time would you recommend to train for any spec forces ?...i dont have much time 1month and a 9 days due to age limit before birthday please reply.
Thank you.
In terms of timeframe, what would be your recommended length for adequately preparing for a selection? Is 3 months enough time to develop your strength and fitness?
Hello my friend, as a former operator and performance enhancement specialist, I can tell that this depends on the current fitness level of the individual. If your GPP is dialed in and you have a solid foundation of general strength then your last three months should be spent on muscular endurance and selection-specific training. For SOF, you need realistically be training at least 6-12 months out for best results. Would you be interested in one of my free training plans?
@@optimalreadiness I would be interested in a program
ok, now I can read and understand the program from the Email.
Hope mike is responding to my mail🙊
If I havent answered yet, try resending the Email, maybe it got lost in some spam folder...
have you got any video of general warm up and specific plus a video of the small workouts to give us some ideas :)? and for example first day on running section ruck must be right after
You can split the running/rucking part and do it at a separate time.
@@project-archangel thnx really thank you sir
fuckin amazing video :)
❤
On the downloadable UF Pro 3 Week Training Plan it lists the warm up for every day as "3 rounds of 8 heavy front squat followed by 400m sprint" aka doing the Litvinov as the warmup. Is that correct?
Hi, contact us at support@ufpro.si and we'll send you the full training plan 😎🤙
Can anyone tell me the name of the track of the intro? Its sooooo goooood. Love this guys, they help me a lot

@Ber Cor Troll....it’s Timmy Trompet: astronaut remix
@Ber Cor yeah exactly you calling me a layer first , than you call a wrong song and now you are disappointed...
To bad that even on quality content there are such bs comments.
what is ruck? what are example excercises for MET?
Thanks in advance.
Ruck is a fancy name for a hike. To ruck, it means to walk with a weighted/heavy backpack on for a long distance. MET stands for Metabolic conditioning., is like cardo such as HIIT (High Intensity Interval training/ running fast for an amount of time, then go slow. Like run as fast as you can for 30secs then walk for 30secs.) There's a whole Pro's Guide to SF Selection on this channel. They go through further details there in the playlist.
It's also explained at 9:34 what MET stands for
