  • "No. I only think about the robbery. The crime I'm about to commit against whoever I'm playing. A little bit of theft when they drop their game winning combo you feel me. Maybe they needed the money but I need to buy stupid shit constantly. I need that money."

Hello. Fighting Game veteran here (I used to play Goldlewis/Gio/Sol/Ky/H. Chaos/May in Strive in season 1 but don't anymore but now I play Granblue Fantasy in my spare time when I'm not making HypeStep music, a genre I invented).
I came across this video in my recommended and decided to amuse myself by purveying the world of the lesser experienced and see what makes them tick, a human experiment if you would. I have some advice because I see you struggling at rank 0. I am rank A but started at rank C, not rank 0 and I'm pretty sure that's the highest so far this season, but I think they're going to add more ranks after EVO Patch like Street Fighter 6 with Akuma, not like Strive Season 1 to Season 2 thankfully.
Fighting game veteran here, Rank A+, the highest I'm sure because I don't see anyone higher. I play every character in this game because it is hard to, and I'm like that. I'm that kind of person because I like a challenge. Noob Ladiva is not a challenge. You are not grabbing Dejetta enough, you need to be close but you keep missing and dropping combos. Noob Dejetta is spamming combos and using her Ult more during okizumi so you have to spam combos more and do okizumi Ult, very similar to Ramlethal Ult, as I'm sure even new people from rank 0 are familiar with.
If you want to get strong and win EVO and join the greats like me, you need to utilize your strong moves instead. You keep using that stupid leg sweep move and it is a noob tactic for those who don't have good defense. You need to headbutt Dejetta fireball to gain meter, it is useful for falloff damage. Ladiva is a support character who doesn't do lots of damage but does damage over time in small hits so you have to do lots of hits during your combos. I didn't see any combo that was more than 20 hits, and I can do that with Yuel, Beezeledub, Kat, Grand, and even Siegfried. Training mode will show you the way, but I wish this game had Strive combo recipes but only kind of. Don't want noobs stealing my best combos on all characters 🤣
Your combos will get stronger with more playing time... provided you learn. Do not be discouraged, JFK once said the journey to 1000 miles begins with a single step, and he said that in Call of Duty too! You will learn and you will get better, but you have to get to Rank B before you can start calling yourself "good." My advice: get to Rank B- to Rank B+ and you will be better and facing better Dejetta's too, but you will be strong. Stay Strong and check out some HypeStep on your way out. It's a very good genre that I invented for getting Hyped to Fighting Games. Let's. Freakin. Go.

Also DO NOT FORGET. IF YOUR OPPONENT IS BETTER THAN YOU. ASK THEM WHAT THEIR WEAKNESS IS AND DO IT NEXT GAME.
