GIN GLIDERS ::: MJ29 MF -- A new lightweight paraglider fabric

MJ29 MF is a new lightweight paraglider fabric developed by Gin Gliders and MJ Tex. It was born out of a belief that the existing lightweight fabrics available to paragliding manufacturers could be improved on.

Will upcoming lightweight Gin gliders be moving to MJ29 vs SkyTex27? Will current lightweight Gin gliders be updated to the new material? I was hoping the Camino2 would be in the MJ29...

I'm interested in both how much lighter this will make an already light wing (i.e. Calypso 2) and if it packs smaller. Great video.

MJ29MF is the same weight as other lightweight fabrics we've been using; the main difference is better air porosity after ageing, according to our tests. The Calypso 2 is already one of the smallest packing wings in its class ;-)
