Welcome to Farming Simulator 22 by GIANTS Software and my first look at the game and some of the new features. This video will feature my first impressions, a brief look at settings, menus, controls, new features and some gameplay on PS5 (Console). PS5 Gameplay.
This is just a brief look at the game. I will be doing further in depth videos on various aspects of the game.

Great stuff Snowy I woke up at 2am still couldn't download on steam but looked at my phone and saw this video so at least I got something. It's downloading now but my internet in rural Maine is nothing to write home about so maybe by afternoon hahaha

Can anyone let me know what the performance is like on PS5? what resolution does it run at? is it able to run at 120fps or 4k60fps? Cant tell from the video and can't find any information online. Thanks!
In my settings the highest it goes up to is 1920 x 1080 @ 60 fps but in the capture options you can select 3840 x 2160 but doesn't say what fps. I think it takes a long time to upload to CZcams as well like that. I'm not that clued up with things like that so I'm not 100% sure
Honestly… not so good. Yes 60fps when you have one tractor and nothing around but when you put a worker and work with another tractor in cabin view or in a harvester the fps and slow down come with…….
With a ps5 i expected less slow down in fs22 but there are still already present.

@@polo2080 I hear what you are saying. You'd think the next gen consoles could handle it better. I personally haven't noticed any issues yet but I've mainly been messing around testing things.

can you help me why the ground in the game is all mirror and even black can be a mistake or something needs to be changed PS4
This happened to me too. Loaded up the game and everything was dark. If you go to the options at the main menu and to the brightness setting, turn it up as high as it will go. Think it was 2.0. That solved it for me
Doesn't look that bad, I might actually get this game cause it looks like a really nice time passer and just a game to play to chill and whatnot. But I've seen a lot of people complain about a pallet loader, what's that about and has it been fixed for PS5?
It is very addictive and definitely a game to just chill with. I found it something different to the norm that I play. Yeah trying to load pallets can be a pain. They said they fixed it but still a bit fiddly and jumpy but it's mainly when using a front loader on a tractor. Using a forklift seems better
@@FarmSimSnowy oh right, that's at least cleared that up. I hadn't even heard of this game but some streamers I watch played this and made it look challenging, fun and relaxing all in one go. And I said to myself "I gotta get this". Thanks for answering my question, I'm genuinely excited to play this.
@@imel3ment4l10 no problem bud. I think you will enjoy it. I'd seen some of the older versions in the shops but always bottled buying it but when FS19 was free on PS plus I downloaded it. Got instantly hooked and the rest is history 🤣

Wtf, this is the second fucking video I clicked on & they don’t click on the “cars”. I want to see the fucking cars as that’s the sole purpose of me purchasing the game!!!
You're going to buy a farming game just for the cars?
I can't really remember what I clicked on when I did this video. It was midnight and everyone was asleep so I was trying to be as quick and quiet as I could 😂
Anyway, the base game "cars" section has 2 pick-ups an older style and a newer model and it has a John Deere Gator and a Mahindra Retriever. There's been some more cool ones added by modders since though. There's monster trucks and all sorts 🤣

hey.... I got it at 5am...via steam. 12 minutes to download.
To sent the load to goldcrest valley...you need to rent the train first...or sell the load at the train station.
when you rent or lease the train, you can drive it and drive to there(the mark on the map).
Soon the train arrives at goldcrest valley, you will receive the money.
My pc can't run at full resolution and settings. at medium...45fps.
a few changes to improved the low performance and it is running at 50 fps.
I don't know... I never played fortnite... but there is a little touch of the fortnite colours and the textures...to me. some sort of cartoon texture...ipad version or something like that.
looks like that the vehicles color and the map texture doesn't fit harmonicly... fortnite touch.
My first impression after 4hrs playing.

I can’t seem to find beacons reflections setting ?
If I remember rightly they are in the options menu at the start screen but I was watching one of DJ's videos and he said they were only available for the next gen consoles.

@@Jdowgg92 I'm on it now bud and for me it's there. At the very start menu where it shows "Career/Multiplayer" etc go to "Options" then it is in the "Display Settings" at the bottom. It says "Realistic Beacon Lights" turn that on bud

No, I haven't noticed any issues whilst playing it

Excellent 👌🏻 It's going to take a while to get used to the layout and buttons of menus. I keep pressing the old buttons 😂

@@michellehiggs60 no it's not too bad. The layouts of menus have changed so you find yourself hitting a button thinking you're still playing 19. Seasons seems to be a bit less complex as well.

I've only had a quick play on it and then needed some sleep. But I'm back up at 7am for another go 🤣 The HD version was rendering for hours on this video 😔 How you finding it bud?
@@FarmSimSnowy it’s definitely a lot different that 19 and is going to take a while to get use to the ai helper aren’t working correctly for me the build mode is a big change and I’m not sure how I’m liking it I’ll have to do so more playing around with everything I think one I get more comfortable with all the controls I’ll like it more

I believe so although looking at my settings I don't think I was recording in that. It takes a long time to upload to CZcams if you do.

I did not have an option for tutorial or to change season length. There’s not an option at all or to use half the sell points. Nothings working on mine.

FS22 on PS5 is not a farm simulater game, its a pallet loading game because that's all you'll end up doing. Unless you want to be butt f..ked with auto sell and lose half your profit, I suggest players get the PC version where you can get auto pallet load
doesn't look as nice as pc sadly. It looks very washed or bleached out on console.
I must admit I didn't record it in 4k only 1080p60. I completely forgot but it would have taken ages to upload to CZcams if I had 🤣

Its good when AI do the work and the player can go do something else in real world. But this pallet loading crap killed it for me, bloody hell it was a chore 😴
@@s3ra9h1m it can be a chore. I read a comment yesterday saying that 82Studio was working on the TLX Phoenix being auto load for pallets and for all platforms 🤞🏻
@@FarmSimSnowy That would be awesome if they did. I was loading a truck load today (usual chore) and they kept moving with the forklift getting stuck... I ended up rage quitting and uninstalling the game. Wish I had a better PC otherwise I'd switch and start fresh just for the pallet autoload 😂
