She SHOULDNT have to give that up!!!! No one should, but the most selfless thing she could’ve done was put John aside to make herself happy. You go girl!!!!
Why is everyone blaming John because he doesn't want kids? He told her from the start that having kids was a no go for him because of his personal reasons and she said she was okay with that. He wasn't being selfish and Nikki knew that a sacrifice would be made and John understood if she couldn't do it. He wouldn't force her to not have kids, and people still are enraged at him for his entitled opinion on being a Father. But it's not okay to assume that he should have kids, because that would be forcing him to make a sacrifice to be a parent. He barely sees Nikki, and hr doesn't want to be a bad father. So why the critism? These two had different opinions on the future and different desires in life. They knew that, and they still made every effort to work around that, and it just didn't work. If they get back together then that would be great, but don't send the blame to John because he couldn't make a sacrifice in his life (not having children) for Nikki (although he ended up proposing despite previous decisions to not get married) when Nikki couldn't make one either. The blame here is equal, if there even is any blame to share.

Maybe because John understands that having children is more then just paying for what they need. Children require attention that he is able to understand himself that he can’t give. That’s honorable and selfless of him.
I get he doesnt want a kid but if he loves her then he needs to respect the fact that she wants a kid and its good that he doesnt want to hold her back from that but maybe they just wernt meant to be i love the both of them 💗💗❤💗

He's said before and made no secret of it: he's a very, very busy man and he doesn't want to bring a child in to the world when he _cannot_ be the type of father he'd want to be because it's not fair on the kid. The guy barely see's the woman who's going to be his wife, can you honestly blame him for not wanting to be an absentee father? That said, this was why the relationship was always doomed if nothing changed.
