  • Unconfined Compressive Strength (UCS) test gives the maximum axial compressive stress of cylindrical soil sample at zero confining stress. The test can only be carried out on cohesive soil, as it is impossible to carry out the test on cohesionless soil. Soil that lacks cohesiveness cannot stand on its own. Soil that lacks cohesion cannot stand on its own. As a result, the UCS test cannot be performed.

    Great work.
Excuse me, I need to buy the mini Compaction Test Apparatus that you prepare the sample inside it. Could you give me the website or way to buy it.

In this video, it is of 5 kN capacity... but depending on your type of soil.. you can increase the capacity... say for stabilized soil sample you should use higher capacity (10 kN)
