    I want to follow this system to mould block of 3m x 1.2m x 1.2m block for cutting for pipe insulation of 40density of ratio 1:1.i need your advice on the chemical formula and is it possible with this system of pouring

      Hi Gilbert,
      volume (v) =2 x 2 x 2 = 8 m³
      mass(m) = Density(ρ) x volume(v)
      With the same box you will use it in the production of all your foam densities but, each time you change from one density to another the total mass of chemicals and the multiplication factor will change too as you can see in the examples below
      density(ρ) = 27 kg/m³
      m = ρ x v
      m = 27 x 8 = 216 kg
      Multiplication factor = 216/Total pph
      density(ρ) = 17 kg/m³
      m = ρ x v
      m = 17 x 8 = 136 kg
      Multiplication factor = 136/Total pph
      density(ρ) = 10 kg/m³
      m = ρ x v
      m = 10 x 8 = 80 kg.
      Multiplication factor = 80/Total pph
      I have noted that height of your box at 2m is too much. For safety purposes from foam scorching leading to self ignition, you need block height of approximately 1.1 to 1.3m therefore the height of your box can be 1.5m.
      I hope you got the explanation and in case you didn't, please inbox me eosdcanon550@gmail.com
