Fallout 2: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game is a 1998 role-playing video game developed by Black Isle Studios and published by Interplay Productions. It is a sequel to Fallout (1997), featuring similar graphics and game mechanics. The game's story takes place in 2241, 80 years after the events of Fallout and 164 years after the atomic war which reduced the vast majority of the world to a nuclear wasteland. The player assumes the role of The Chosen One, the grandchild of the first game's protagonist, and undertakes a quest to save their small village on the West Coast of the United States.
Fallout 2 was well received by critics, who praised its gameplay and storyline, and considered it a worthy successor to the original Fallout. Its bugs and limited updates to the formula of the first game attracted criticism. In 2008, it was followed by a sequel, Fallout 3, developed by Bethesda Game Studios.
Title: Fallout 2: The Toughest Game Yet? - Hry
lol bro you're doing some expert tactics in those fights. I personally prefer to think instead of work hard. If I have to put in a lot of effort, I just deduce that I must be doing something wrong. So I stop what I'm doing and start thinking creative ways to solve the issue. For example, In temple of trials - you can just run past all the mobs and steal the key. Some enemies you don't have to fight at all. You can get Sulik to clear the early game content for you. Etc.
It is going to be interesting to see what F2 looks like in the fallout engine when Project Arroyo is done.
Never heard of Project Arroyo but I did hear about a first person mod for fallout 2
@@DunhillDerick , yeah voices, those who covered it, didn't say much asof yet regarding how development is going, would like to see it succeed as well, but P.A., if it lands with some grace, it will be incredible and really bring some perspective for the scale in both F1, with the Vault 13's project, and f2 with Arroyo.
Still waiting on reports on the development of both Project NV and Capital Wasteland.
This is the best fallout game ever made
Definitely one of the hardest
@@DunhillDerick its harder by the start because you get no guns, so the trick is to invest a little early on melee weapons. But when you get your build set up it will get easier. Recommend upgrading your main weapon skill to 100 asap
My strike missed...my strikes always miss
Every. Single. Time.
Do tactics
I was thinking about playing fallout 3 but for some reason now it doesn’t run
@@DunhillDerick It’s a sign! It seems fate has chosen you play Tacfics next!
@@donnaolsen3964 I hope you don't convince me to play fallout shelter next
@@donnaolsen3964 Fallout Tactics is so hard I barely beat the first mission. Might have to mod it a bit so my monitor resolution doesn't change when i play.
@@DunhillDerick I believe it and all the old games actually still run off original disc fine.
Also, Tactics is the first game in the series to have DLC. The 'Bonus Mission' pre-order bonus. It contains one new mission (Springfield), one new item(The Buggy Car), some artwork you can view, and instructions and Rules for an offline dnd style Tactics RPG you could play.
Be careful in FO2. Those kids have glue on their fingers 😉
Thanks for the heads up I’m thinking about trying to beat it tonight
