Sigh, I'm honestly too frustrated to even go into detail with the lack of redemption the writers gave Ming. Tbh I can't even GO into detail because there just ain't any lol I'm 100% disappointed with this lazy writing. Ming pretty much has no redemption actions before Joe caves in and forgives him, beside doing things that any normal couple WOULD do for each other...The writers completely side stepped this major issue and instead tried to redirect everyone's anger and frustration of Ming's behavior onto Tong. Like...shhhh look away at this other ahole, forget about Ming...it never happened..shhhh.... UGH! (don't get me wrong he had some nice things to say and he made an effort, but again - is that really redemption? or just acting like a normal loving bf??)

When Ming confessed, he was scared. I was melting, seeing Ming defend Joe makes me so happy.
I honestly LOVED how sweet Ming was with Joe this episode. I still think he needs to grovel like hell but I will admit if he wasn't as "rough around the edges" before, his sweetness here wouldn't have met as much. So I loved that. Also, the acting. I can't. I'm going to be so depressed when this show is over. (Thanks for another stunning edit of them!) ❤ I can't wait for the next episode. Ming is in his love era and I'm for it. 😊

The problem is that this series needs to have 13 episodes and they would have added a few past scenes in between 3 years when Ming suffered alone from ep 6 to 8, so that it could have added more meaning to Ming and Joe's suffering. This issue is the only loophole in this series. But if we put aside this issue for a moment, there are a few scenes that are modified too well from the novel in Joe's characterisation and last we need to say that Up and Poom have given their outstanding performance in this show, and @Jatsuki your edits are marvellous as always 💖💖💖💖✨✨🤩🤩
I agree. Or better yet have 14 episodes. Like Kinnporsche. But also I think the ones who made the drama counted on that the audience had read the novel. Which often is the issue with adaptations. Because now to some it feels like Ming got Joe back like a piece of candy. All too easy. Still I feel like Ming's character remains consistent throughout. But that's just me.
@@veraanastasiaramirezrozas1633 Yeah 14 is better too and Ming is consistent within my pov ,but still for people who want to watch redemption arc soo badly or to feel some relief they could have added few past scenes like flashes in between.

Joe and Ming conversation on changes before going to see the film . When Ming says the reason he choose to be in the industry entertainment was for him. Joe was awed because he knows the weight of it. As its a callback from episode 3 when Joe asked Ming if he wanted to be an actor. Which Ming responds with that he likes his privacy. Also, one of the few moments Ming opens up to Joe. So, that was a nice touch. I think Ming isn't as easy to read, if you compare him to Joe. Ming is more reserved, and has build up a lot of walls to protect himself. His way of showing he cares about someone is through gestures, rather than words.

Amazing edit of an amazing series with this amazing brilliant couple UpPoom. An edit showing perfectly their love beyond space and time is. If even Destiny itself gave them the second chance to discover all errors from previous life and to make things in the right way in the new life- for really being together, why we would say no? We people are requesting to God, Destiny- all the time - second chances in many contexts. So we should understand Ming Joe story more.
A mass of mixed emotions this series has got me feeling. It's so nice to see Ming now being able to provide Joe protection. And fight for him ❤️

I'm very curious about Ming's redemption in the novel (I'm still at the beginning of the novel 😭) but in terms of the series, I have to agree. It felt a bit too rushed.
I still like the episode tho, it was fun. 😅
Why do these shows rush when getting to the end of the show.
Yeah ,instead they can fast forward few scenes from last 4 episodes rather than rushing all happy moments at last...that's sad to watch these days.
