I'm so glad you like the brackets! Thanks for sharing your impressions, and that's a fantastic setup you've built.
Really neat solution with the Dashboard bracket and Woodpeckers profiles. Like it.
Great setup, combined use of the router jig is inspired. Especially like the extra rail extrusion on the back, it could give you extra cross cutting capacity, or as a rip fence too 👍🏻
Ingenious 👏🏻
It would be interesting if you did a video about the construction of your MFT table. Looks interesting.
Nice setup.
Ordered and waiting for my Dashboard Rail Guide. About to build my MFT Bench/Cabinet with Extrusion. Like to see how you setup your benchtop.
Peter, interesting setup. Hope you do a video showing your MFT table + track saw + Woodpecker's jigs in use on a project. Thanks.
Super interesting. More info about the woodpecker router system. I have it and am curious about specifics of setting this up.
I was thinking of doing a similar setup but wasn’t sure how to attach the dashboard guide rail attachments . So series 15uls would you use the same profile if you built another table again.
Great video! Inspires me to build my own and totally into woodpeckers tools now! Btw, is the 1515 rails what you used to build your table? Thanks!
Yes 1515 LS I'm just building a second table for ripping I'll do a video of that one when its done too
@@PeterEller Thats awesome! Can you shed some light on how you got the table mounted in the frame? Also curious how you mounted the frames together while keeping the corners open for clamps? Thank you!
@@PeterEller how do you hold the track saw in the air? do you have the link to the item/piece? Thanks
Hi Peter, what device are you using to stop your saw from sliding off the rail, when the rail is tipped up? I have absolute confidence in the dashboard kit, and can recommend their other products too.
I use the Festool rail stop at the end just flipped around to stop the saw from sliding off the end and I use a 1/4" rod at the back that I bent around to hook into the rail that keeps it from tipping. if you look at my previous video of my table you can see a close-up to see what I did I have since switched from the aluminum rod had in the video to brass so it slides better

That’s a good idea!
Hi bro gd Morin . u can also try to doing template for 45° can
How rigid is the side movement? Does this shake with hand tools?
it's pretty stable for being on locking castors. I have the Festool vac clamp to hold pieces i'm working on. The 8020 extrusions are set in two squares to act as a torsion box. it's not as massive as a Sjöbergs but I don't do any large hand planing its more that adequate for my needs
@@PeterEller I have the mobile cart with the extension table and it has a lot movement for hand tables on the extension table. What secures the legs is just some plastic with a clip so I am assuming that’s the issue.
Are those two Festool tables bolted together or something else?
No, it is a table I made with 8020 aluminum extrusions
@@PeterEller Thanks
How much did that thing cost?
the 80/20 extrusion I used $0.39 / inch
1515-ULS

@@PeterEller 2 years later it's $0.62/inch. That's 59% inflation!
Also, great video. It's inspiring, so thanks for sharing!
