He’s a legend. To record this album in two hours is simply amazing.
He seems so scattered outside of the specific acts of songwriting and performing the songs he's written. He's like a savant, but it never feels soullessly efficient or mathematical. Every song he puts out feels purposeful and has such warmth and depth and emotion. I'm just so enamored with this man right now.
To be as prolific as this man has been and to never have a slump is just amazing... it's probably cause he's such a humble and down to earth dude.
Unmistakable voice.
Can't stop replaying this stream , he's so good
Everything about his music is pure genius
wonderful voices, beautiful people.
(i really loved South)
the record is so damn good
He’s my favorite right now.
Newspaper Gown is awesome.
So flippin cool

Just great
🌹👏🌹
anyone know what guitar he is playing?
I appreciate the evolution, but some of the passion is gone (i.e. compared to the old KEXP recording, or older live performances). “Orphan songs” are great, but orphans probably have the most passion. This is the most criticism I have ever given Jurado, FYI.
I just saw him Friday, October 4th, at the Tractor Tavern in Seattle and I'd have to disagree. It was one of the most passionate performances I have seen, truly gave me chills several times during the show. One of the most intimate performances I have seen.
