The thing about what gets a blu ray is about how they were made, Cyberchase was the first computer-animated film and from there they were produced in HD computer animation, but before that Alien Invaders, Zombie Island etc were Hand Drawn produced on film and transferred to video SD and thus a DVD. HD restoration of these films would require, firstly, the original film elements which in some cases highly likely don't exist anymore, and if they do, then would require an expensive rescan and edit process. And we have seen that after a few blu ray releases they stop releasing even the HD produced films, presumably, they weren't making enough money, so if they weren't doing so good and the amount of money being made on this front was inadequate so they stopped, then its highly likely that HD restorations would be deemed too expensive for them to bother, and even if they did, they probably would not get a blu-ray release as presumably they didnt sell well because they are no longer produced. Although I did hear that Zombie Island may have been restored, if it is, then it would be HD on streaming, Amazon, itunes, etc.....
Also, Legend of the Vampire is my favourite......pls stop the slander hahaha
I’ve always wanted to see someone unbox this so thanks for this! Something I realised is that I think they re used shaggy’s model from the back cover of the blu ray on the camp scare dvd. I think they just mirrored it. Lets hope they don’t steal your bloody plastic next time!
No worries 👍 i finally got round to collecting the blu rays for scooby doo. Still some out there with hard to find slipcovers but ill get them eventually 😂
It would be interesting if you did some blu ray reviews of these and compared them to the dvds in picture and audio quality, maybe help some people decide if they are worth the upgrade
This was the first Scooby doo movie I watched so therefore this holds a special place on my heart, I found it quite entertaining revisiting it last week, also bought zombie island on digital and noticed that it did get an HD upscale just not on physical
This is my favourite of the doos. I just like it when scooby goes against vampires. But don’t take this as me being offended by u saying it’s bad. Good video.
The main thing i liked about the movie was the hex girls but other then that it wasn't enjoyable as a movie, the hex girls made this movie without them i don't think it would be as good. That's what i meant when i said its crap/bad 😅
this movie was pretty good in my opinion not one of my favourites but it's pretty good i think it's serve a blu ray because the yowie yahoo throwing fire balls can of reminded me about the green witch from scoooby doo and the witch's ghost and the yowie yahoo is a amazing villian him can of reminded me of chernabog from the fantasia and it's was fantastic start to the what new scooby doo and it's was nice to have health and nicole repirse their roles as daphne and velma and it's was nice to see the classic mystery incorparted outfits again since we only the classic outfits in the begin of zombie island.
The films was okay, I Mostly enjoy seeing the return of the fable Hex Girls, seeing them made the film worth while. I'm not saying the film was terrible but just that without the hex girls I don't think it would of done as good as it did.
@@MarkMarsh94 yes it was nice to see the Hex Girls in this movie after 4 or 5 years after Scooby-Doo and the Witch's Ghost one of the best Scooby-Doo classics.
Question: how did you get into Scooby Doo?, The minute I saw it, I fell in love with it, the first one I saw was Zombie Island but I'm 16 years old so I was like 4 when I saw it, absolute unreal film
I think i started watching scooby doo around 1998-99 as the scooby doo marathon was on during the summer holiday's so every day was scooby doo heaven. Scooby doo where are you, 13th ghosts, the new scooby doo movies and the scooby doo show were on throughout the summer.
