I've been at McLaren for a tour, cause a friend was a student there. Very impressive. And clean. I bet if a fly shits on the floor, a little flap in a wall will open and a little robot will come out to clean up instantly.
Hey Baron von Grumble, I like your vids man, keep it up (44t is also awesome) and... well I have been fighting depression and you kinda help me in a weird way... Thank you for that man.
This is very ironic because Barons videos are helping me with my rough patch right now too. Nonetheless, I hope you have been well and found the light since this comment was posted.
And this is why average speed cameras are a waste of money, they catch grannies doing 55 in a 50 but anyone can fly down at 100mph and stop before the end and the cameras do nothing. I fucking hate them
You can have a lot of money and still have money problems. One of my mates is on 200K a year, but thats countered by the sheer cost of his lifestyle.Ie house bills travel ect not to mention he never seems to have a hour to himself.
I bought my 2015 RR off the back of your review. I then bought my S1000XR off the back of your review. Shit the bed. I guess I'm off to Bahnstormer this week. Much love 👍
I love all these bikes, but my favorite is the Aprilia RSV4. I just really like the looks and sound of it. I would be quite happy with any of these super bikes. RSV4, S1000RR, R1M, Ninja H2 and CBR1000RR. All very good bikes. Keep that BMW nice, they are sweet machines and all of these fast bikes deserve respect.
Absolutely spot on! S1RR was ground breaking in so many ways including safety, it took the competition years to answer back. I've loved my 11 and about to trade up to a leftover 17.
2016 S1RR was sublime, clocked up 35K km inc. Istanbul to Amsterdam and back. I believe 2017 fireblade SP will be impressive at the very least and perhaps more fun and more user friendly(due to weight) on public roads. ( I'll miss heated grips & cruise control)
I passed my theory test last Saturday, tomorrow I book my Mod 1 and Mod 2. This is complete motivation to get up early and do so tomorrow morning. S1000RR sounds incredible, that tunnel run ahhhh!
Driving around my neck of the woods. The best bit about the Maclaren HQ is that they've planted trees in an exact grid, so as you drive past they all line up perfectly.
I hear you, Baron. I've owned one new bike in my life, an RSV4 Factory. I took care of it, not in a cover it in cotton wool sense though, I loved riding it and it sounded ridiculously good and you would never get bored of hearing that V4, but knowing how much its individual parts were worth, I would always wonder if it would still be where I parked it whenever I went anywhere and it took the fun out of owning it to be honest.
Got my A2 licence in December and got myself a Ninja 400 with a full Akra exhaust system and I love it, but the day that I can blast through a tunnel and it sound like that, that's the day I'm waiting for. The godliest sound known to man...
Thank you Baron! Awesome video and amazing job on the design! I feel like the best thanks I can give however is going and purchasing an S1000RR of my own!
Was drooling over the BVG bike at Alton last week, really striking colours....... £21,000 price tag, when it eventually goes on sale!!!!!.....thanks for a tour around my home turf of Woking..... the good, bad and ugly!!!!
i ride a Yamaha Stryker, its just like a Harley Davidson Breakout. Not nimble or quick like a sportbike but its what I got, and your videos got me super into motorcycles like six years ago and damn its like being reborn when you get a motorcycle. Next machine is the Suzuki Gsxs 1000F because I want something on the comfy side, 2021 lets get it
I ride the S1000RR on the road and you're right, its THE best sports bike on the road, end of! It's also bonkers and nuts at the same time as being tame at lower speeds, Ode to the S1KRR!
Your comments on quality control are absolutely true! I have a car with 96k on the clock and worry about all the little chips and scratches. What I should care about is the fact it is mechanically sound
That burger king is the guildford one, my best mate died on his fireblade right there, crashed into the entrance of that burger in a terrible accident. brings it all back seeing that place. :(
Bloody hell now I want a full system! Sounds amazing, looks amazing. Also pretty sure the Hindhead tunnel is front facing average cameras so no need to worry.
Holy shit your boy is going to big school! I remember when you didn't even have a boy :O PS that rev limiter in the hindhead - good god that sounds glorious
Dream bike right there... looks stunning, well done. i know about the obsessiveness, me and my friend both have old zx6r's, he really is obsessed with keeping it to a showroom standard, where as i'm the opposite, few cuts and bruises never hurt the bike and i just go out and bloody enjoy it. But each to there own at the end of the day. Ride Safe and have a great weekend guys :)
I agree about the scratches and damages on new things, hahaha I once dropped my first expensive helmet, and something inside me just died. didn't care for further scratches after that. lol.
Hello Baron, i just bought a 2017 S1000RR and i am having trouble finding a slip-on. Only titanium Yoshimura seems to be the less shitty. In you video 'respect' what is the exhaust/slip on you are using? Cheers
That bike just stimulates the senses doesn't it... Is the s1000rr as comfortable as a cbr600 F4i? I ride an F4i and I want an s1k as my next bike. Both are sports bikes and both are said to be comfortable but just howwww comfortable are we talking.
What sort of situation would you borrow this bike for because it's seems a bit risky for track and it's not done up for it but also road and touring will get it all dirty and worn
I heard a similar story from a local music instrument shop, whenever this one guy would come in to buy a guitar he would bang it off the counter so he didn't have to worry about taking to gigs and inevitably damaging his pristine guitar. Don't know how true it is but the idea makes sense, not that many of us would do it.
While not a fan of the BMW or the s1000rr (RSV4 factory owner) i can totally agree with what BVG is saying and for that reason it deserves a round of applause...(quiet golf clap at my desk at work)...
I used to work at McLaren, best company I've ever worked for. It's sad to see them languishing at the back end of the grid these days. I hope Renault engines will be a massive improvement. Nice vid as always BVG.
yeah dude i put cruse on all the time while going through my parking lot in first gear to open or close my jacket vents or something, thats one thing that makes the bmw cruse so much better than every other cruse on a bike ive used. all the others ive used take to much faffing or get on or off quickly.
I thought average speed cameras worked by taking a picture at the first camera then another one over a set distance to the second camera which works out how long it took you to travel that distance so if you're speeding they'll be able to tell even if you slow right down just before the second camera ?
Two things: first, in terms of credit being due, BMW have Suzuki to thank for the S1000RR. I recall that BMW took an '05 GSXR1000 and stripped it to nuts and bolts to figure out what made it so good; I think they were actually quite honest about doing it too. That gave them direction for the base platform. They then began to refine the package and create the S1000RR; which, I agree, then moved things on. Secondly: top tip, worst thing you can possibly do is wipe dried bird lime off a car with a napkin; might as well use sandpaper. Tissue paper, loads of water, soak, dab off very carefully, otherwise you will scratch the paint.
The s1000rr is one of those bikes that's got your back. If you fuck up or get out of your depth it'll be there to smooth you through the crisis and even make you look good, rather than spit you off and leave you in the cemetery or A&E. It was a game changer on release and I doubt BMW will drop the ball with the new model.
I've been at McLaren for a tour, cause a friend was a student there. Very impressive. And clean. I bet if a fly shits on the floor, a little flap in a wall will open and a little robot will come out to clean up instantly.
Here before this gets age restricted...
Why would this get restricted?
MrcabooseVG Because the bike is pornographic, duh.
Tristram Randall Sexual Chocolate
Jizz Machine Warning
You know CZcams is fucking you when you get 43 views after 15 mins... guess i need to spend more on AdWords
Didn't get the notification till after half an hour or so mate
I think they are just throttling their servers to keep up with all the viewage! You can't trust view counters anyway.
9:29 Listen to your own advice!
I always let the commercials play on your channel.
weird, i had to subscribe again?
Qorr, that rev limiter!
Hey Baron von Grumble, I like your vids man, keep it up (44t is also awesome) and... well I have been fighting depression and you kinda help me in a weird way... Thank you for that man.

12:26 that iconic AGV visor slapping itself shut.
And this is why average speed cameras are a waste of money, they catch grannies doing 55 in a 50 but anyone can fly down at 100mph and stop before the end and the cameras do nothing. I fucking hate them
"Off to pick up a credit card on a opem tab from lastnight" ... on a brand new s1000rr... 1st world problems hahaha
Yea hes got a 911 and was moaning about money not so long ago lol
Mate everyone knows the more money you have the more problems. More money just means more bills.
CewP it's not his bike though...
I'd say that depends on your choice of partner and what stage of mid life crisis you are in ;-)
You can have a lot of money and still have money problems.
One of my mates is on 200K a year, but thats countered by the sheer cost of his lifestyle.Ie house bills travel ect not to mention he never seems to have a hour to himself.
I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing but I just fell asleep listening to the Barons dulcet tones.
I bought my 2015 RR off the back of your review. I then bought my S1000XR off the back of your review.
Shit the bed. I guess I'm off to Bahnstormer this week.
Much love 👍
Nearly went passed my house , next time you go that way baron you can come in for a cup of tea 🍵
I love all these bikes, but my favorite is the Aprilia RSV4. I just really like the looks and sound of it. I would be quite happy with any of these super bikes. I wish the new models still had fire blue as a color option.

That is the best looking S1000RR i have ever seen. Aw, wanna get one now. Tossing between this and the R1. Can't seem to decide.
Thewiz3222 r1m dude don't get the regular one
125 Varadero XL
Wild Bill jheeze you have high expectations if you think a 17’ R1 is hideous to look at
Thewiz3222 r1 feels too much like I'm on top of the bike. Too track orientated for me
Same man! Idk what to do i have to make a decision by next week 2016 premium or 2017 raven r1 what do i do!?!?
Got my A2 licence in December and got myself a Ninja 400 with a full Akra exhaust system and I love it, but the day that I can blast through a tunnel and it sound like that, that's the day I'm waiting for. The godliest sound known to man...
That should be in an art museum.... absolutely stunning bike mate 👍👍👍
I love that little clap the exhaust emits off-throttle.
Thank you Baron! Awesome video and amazing job on the design! I feel like the best thanks I can give however is going and purchasing an S1000RR of my own!
I absolutely love my 2010 s1000rr. It's fast, comfy and turns heads where ever I go granted it's all stock but that will soon change. Nice video
Look forward to these EVERYDAY, even if you don't post for months - I'll check my notifications daily... You the Baron
Was drooling over the BVG bike at Alton last week, really striking colours....... £21,000 price tag, when it eventually goes on sale!!!!!.....thanks for a tour around my home turf of Woking..... the good, bad and ugly!!!!
There's nothing more nostalgic than hearing your accent along side a super sport engine.
Everytime I've ridden the s1000rr it's put a massive smile on my face, it really is an amazing bike...
i ride a Yamaha Stryker, its just like a Harley Davidson Breakout. On a second note.... that tunnel!😍😍 good lord take my soul.
YES I missed these video's. the tunnel made me smile
Oh great now I want a Burger King! 😂
Awesome bike - have a 14 and love the that it's a little more raw than the current. Although cruise control would be nice for those longer trips
What's your helmet ? The in helmet mic seems very clear. Normally this clear won't come if the helmet is very snug and mic is sticking to mouth
Love my 2017 RR - no issues at all 4K in. A dream post owning a Ducati Multi!
Epic bike - great bit of road, we're just down the street from Tdown racecourse. Will keep an eye our for you on the roads! cheers for great vids!
Bloody hell now I want a full system! Sounds amazing, looks amazing. Also pretty sure the Hindhead tunnel is front facing average cameras so no need to worry.
Agree :)
What ear plugs do you use? Love the vids
I know you've stated this before but which version of the S1000RR do you prefer? Also, what's you top liter bike pick at the moment?
Holy shit your boy is going to big school! I remember when you didn't even have a boy :O
PS that rev limiter in the hindhead - good god that sounds glorious
I was thinking this.. I thought big school started at age 11 or 12, It's been so long
Love the Cuban'esk cocktail bar music at the end!
Baron who set the HPCK up on it and what settings do you run on suspension?
Dream bike right there... looks stunning, well done. i know about the obsessiveness, me and my friend both have old zx6r's, he really is obsessed with keeping it to a showroom standard, where as i'm the opposite, few cuts and bruises never hurt the bike and i just go out and bloody enjoy it. Love that bit of road after Tweseldown Racecourse!
Hi Barron, the quality of your video is great! Which camera are you using for this video?
Cheers,
Hello Baron, i just bought a 2017 S1000RR and i am having trouble finding a slip-on. Only titanium Yoshimura seems to be the less shitty. In you video 'respect' what is the exhaust/slip on you are using? Cheers

Just ordered brand new one with updated paint job and extra alarm beast ..... now I'm excited for my first road bike lol yehaaas flying
are ther any HD pic of the bike for my screen saver?
That bike just stimulates the senses doesn't it... Is the s1000rr as comfortable as a cbr600 F4i? I ride an F4i and I want an s1k as my next bike. Both are sports bikes and both are said to be comfortable but just howwww comfortable are we talking.
God this was a great vid. Classic, classic Baron. The fact that you guilted yourself out of Burger King almost made me piss laughing
Love that sound
It sounds soooo good 👍
What sort of situation would you borrow this bike for because it's seems a bit risky for track and it's not done up for it but also road and touring will get it all dirty and worn
Always a fan of the S1k vlogs

Great vid baron. Love that sound omg!
Awesome as expected don’t get stressed about the stress Chris!!!!!
Great vid, and I spotted The Inn at Maybury - I've had a few cheeky beers in there before :-D
yeah dude i put cruse on all the time while going through my parking lot in first gear to open or close my jacket vents or something, thats one thing that makes the bmw cruse so much better than every other cruse on a bike ive used. all the others ive used take to much faffing or get on or off quickly.
how do average speed cameras work on bikes cos the reg is on the back?
8:33 bro you just spoke deep into my heart... I need a moment
it's so true :(
is there a video on the M3 issue? i don't remember seeing anything about it
The pops and rev limiter! 😍
I recognise these roads , all filmed around farnham fleet area?
hello sir can you tell me which is better the r1m or BMW s1000rr?
Does anyone else notice the random Partridge reference in these vlogs?
you should do another road trip but on an s1000rr!!! loved your first one on the gsxr.
Bike looks good Baren, when are you going to do your first track day on it ?
love that outro music. it tickled my pickle
That Burger King in Guildford is my biggest sin. Fair play for walking away you've got more courage than me!
I thought average speed cameras worked by taking a picture at the first camera then another one over a set distance to the second camera which works out how long it took you to travel that distance so if you're speeding they'll be able to tell even if you slow right down just before the second camera ?
Pause rewind pause rewind that tunnel run was epic haha.. I was waiting for the pit lane limiter ?!!
Does anyone know how this custom S1000RR deal worked? Is it Baron's now or Bahnstormers? For sale?
Somebody please tell me what's the intro music?
The birds were marking your car, it was a setup. Bloody Fucking Birds.
Aspirations for what my bike can be. I'm digging the yellow.
Tis a wonderful thing to make magic sounds in a tunnel in this day and age! Amen
Lovely bike
That rev-limiter bounce doe...brap-pap-pap-pap!
How did you write off the M3?
Another great video!
I'm still confused, is it yours or not...
Damn it, this S1000RR looks so f***** nice!!!
They've ruined that road round Tweseldown by making it 40!!!!!! You have made a work of art with your RR!! Looks almost as good as my '17 S1000R :-)
Richard Rathmell i know! Make it a 40 then resurface it amazingly 🙈
That is one serious noisefest in the tunnel! :D
the music at the end perfect i can picture you dancing xD
Omg that thing sounds soooo gooood
I've just come from the 'This Exhaust is TOO LOUD. 1290 Super Duke R' vid, and this RR sounds like a 125 :D
Inb4 this bike gets stolen in shithole london
got one fkn beast with oz racing wheels unreal luv it

Titaniumparts ohhhh shut up!

Shaun Barclay everyone starts somewhere 😊 happy riding
best 125 tho
RMW for sure, lovely machine
