      Any signature restaurant not in the parks are perfect for date nights! Like California Grill and especially Victoria and Alberta (Be prepared to have a bill over 300 for 2). Disney springs also has many good options for adults. Don’t forget to mention do Disney that it’s your honeymoon for some extra magic!

      You'll want to stay at grand floridian. Period. High end restaurants right there, adult themed resort. If on honeymoon there I wouldn't even bother with the parks except one day for fireworks and Cinderella royal table dinner. Request a window table can watch fireworks from right inside the castle while eating. Met alot of celebrities while working there. Definitely the most fancy, nice experience for adults you'll find anywhere in Disney world. Look into it cause they definitely have amazing wedding/honeymoon packages to make it even more special like dinner for two in private gazebo next to lake during fireworks for example

    Also I want to say something really magical that happened on the Disney world trip I just got back from this weekend. We went to the sci fi drive in theater without a reservation. When you go there without a reservation, I have done it a few times before, you just get a regular table and not the cool car table. We asked if they had the car table available and they said they book up months before hand. When our name was called and we followed the person who called our name they brought us to the car table and I got super excited. I asked them, I thought it was all booked. The CM said: “Mickey wanted to make sure you received the best seat in the house” because the car tables were in a better location in accordance to the movie screen. This is why I love Disney world. Also btw, I went to dinner at Golden Oaks because one of my mom’s best friends lived there and I promised myself I will live there when I’m older and go to Disney ALL the time since now I live just outside of DC so I’m not the closest. One day... wish me luck!

  • @alishaanttila3528
    @alishaanttila3528 Před 5 lety +3

    The best thing about character dining is when the characters are able to create magical moments for/with you. In my experience, it's usually the fuzzies that do this the most as they need to be more expressive since they can't speak. I've had Stitch try to feed me at the Ohana breakfast after pouring syrup all over my food. He didn't ruin my meal by any means as he knew I was done eating beforehand! As a kid, I also received a drawing of Donald from Dale at Garden Grill that he drew there at the table which I believe I still have somewhere. Goofy has also teased my best friend for leaving the table to go to the bathroom right before reaching our table. She hadn't realized that he was at the table next to us when she left but Goofy took offense to this and sat in her seat until she returned as well as chiding her and placing her autograph book on top of her head after signing. There have been more little moments spanning many trips but these are my favorites and the ones I remember the clearest.

    Unless they have changed again, you might want to revisit Tutto Gusto - they have stopped the "wine cellar" schtick, at least as of Dec 2018, and are featuring a heavier, more traditional menu, with reservations strongly suggested. Think an extension of the original. In fact, we actually asked for an appetizer _only_ available in the main room next door, and since we were early in the day, we were happily seated in the "patio" of the main room and served our preferred appetizers and wines by the glass.

    I’m going to Disney for one day (magic kingdom) and it’s been stressful trying to figure out how to pack everything into one day because I’ve been to Disney a few times and have SO many favorites. You should make a video on how to make the most of one day in each park! It would be super helpful and interesting!

    Many thanks to the cast member who played Mickey during the Disney Land Parade. My granddaughter ( shes 3) got super excited and ran past the yellow tape to hug Mickey. Mickey gave her a hug and told her he loved her too. I had tears running down my face I was so embarrassed and thought we would be kicked out. But Mickey/Disney handled it so well, and our day wasnt ruined. Although, grandma needed a time out! Lol 😊

    As a full grown adult I can say I loved eating at the T-Rex restaurant even without kids just because I'm a sucker for fantastical atmosphere, but I will say the triceratops table where you sit inside it has got to be the worst table. I've only been twice and the first time was with my rather large family, meaning table options for us were understandably limited and we were put there. It's essentially a walled in booth so you can't even see all the fun decorations of the restaurant, and as it's an oval booth, there's only one open section, and the vast majority of your party ends up trapped and completely walled in (10 of us) while two of you luck out and get the ends of the C-shaped bench. Just a very tight space that makes it difficult to get out and go to the bathroom and impossible for people to see the animatronics. Still loved the restaurant! I just took all my siblings' kids for a walk through the themed areas before our food got to the table. But I would definitely mow down that evil fortress disguised as a triceratops XD.

    I live in the Kansas City area, and we had a T-Rex Restaurant for a long time, as well as the Rainforest Cafe. I remember many birthday parties at Rainforest for my sister... It closed down years ago... and sadly, T-Rex closed down within the last couple of years as well. I was really sad. Yeah the food wasn't amazing, but it was worth the money and the experience. My favorite table at our local one was down at the bar area with the giant octopus stretched out. There was a table with a giant jellyfish encompassing it. I thought that was super cool.

    I couldn't agree more about Chef Mickey's. Yes, my kids enjoyed the characters but the food quality and service was subpar. Best character meals we have done have been Ohana (a family favorite) and the Garden Grill. Also, some of our favorite meals have been quick service or counter service restaurants. We love grabbing a counter service and snack in every country in Epcot and sharing them. It's fun and that Disney Magic gets my picky eater to try something new. Love the video. Headed back to WDW the first week of August. We haven's visited during the summer in 9 years because we have been going at Christmas for the past 9 years. This year with the great summer discounts we added a summer trip.
