Was there September and recommend getting the local buses to Maho beach only $1 per person. The first day we was there got taxi and cost $20
First time checking your channel and that’s due to our summer holiday plans. Looking a the Caribbean but not sure which island to choose, I think St Maarten has just made the cut. I will however need to check out your Anguilla vlog though.

Great video! I was told to get to David's hole from a small dirty road to the right of Baie Rouge. Is that the way you went? Just wanted to check so we can find another route if this is where that route takes you. thanks!
Wow you guys really get around and build that country list. We are working on it but we both still work full time. Some day maybe able to transition to full time travel and other stuff. 🎉loved the Iceland stuff.
Thanks Dan! Our goal was 30 countries before we turned 30 years old , we visited our 30th country when we were 30 + 2 months so not bad! Working full-time definitely makes it harder! Consistency is key keep plugging!

Best vacation place ever!!! We go there 3 times a year and stay in Philipsburg … best snapper is at the lay back bar with Shelly belly 😉 best drinks and atmosphere is from the Shell bar right beside the holland house hotel … great hotel BTW .. your video was great … loved seeing all the places on the island .. what a great place!!! The sea palace is another great hotel in Philipsburg … Thanks for sharing your vacation ❤

I haven't even finished your video yet. But.. great so far. My wife and I love St. Martin. We always stay on the French side. Happy bay is great..... and often nude. If you are going to be nude, then get there early before all the tourist sail boats and wave runner tours show up about 11 a.m. Late afternoon is also a great time. If you hike Pic Paradis from Lottery Farm it is very challenging. Short but steep. It is about 1.5 miles to the top, but has about. 1350 ft elevation change from bottom to top. Some of the hiking has grades from 27-34%. Very steep. Best Wishes.

These guys remind me of when I was their age (did I just say that?...) and nude beaches and pot sort of went together. I'm headed to St. Martin first week of February. I can see that this isn't France in relation to language, English rules, etc. I'm not planning on renting a car but might change my mind. It's really just to relax and enjoy the beach, etc.
Hey David! Have the best time! On the French side the locals actually do speak ALOT of French. You can get by without knowing it but we were shocked how many primarily French speaking people there were!! Enjoy the beach and warm sunshine!!

The first beach was Friars Bay Beach but we just walked past that one to get to Happy Bay Beach. So to answer your question the first beach we actually enjoyed was Happy Bay Beach! 👍🏼👍🏼 hope that helps haha
@@MathersOnTheMap love happy bay! The road to friars bay is rough in a car though 😂 we typically drive up to IcI t'es ailleur on the right and “hike” the path.
You do not need a high clearance vehicle to go to Pic Paridis. Just go slow over the potholes on the way.

Well, we followed in your foot steps 🦶and went to the Christmas Villages at Love Park in Philadelphia on Monday! 👍👍

✔First stop was to buy our blue Christmas mugs filled with hot Apple Spice wine!
✔Potato pancakes, apple strudel, bratwurst... you know the routine! 😂
Let me tell you it was cold!!! 🥶
6 days of ski in so far... the instructor's clinic this past weekend was brutal on the legs... two five hour days of slow paced technical rotary skiing!
Did enjoy the reverse backward ski section until Vail Resorts said 👎no more of that!!

At Maho, the beach bar you did not sit close to, Sunset Beach Bar, has the best Eggs Benedict I have tasted and they have the plane schedules listed right in front.. BTW, no mention that most of Orient Bay Beach is topless and/or fully nude? Did you not notice? LOL
hey Chuck, that beach bar looked sweet!!! Unfortunately we didn't stay long at Orient Bay Beach more just checking it out. We saw some topless folks at Maho beach as well!
