European often plans their vacation 1 year ahead. If you accept that parameter you understand that hope for tourism from Europe before 2022 or even 2023 is futile. And the concept of being able to vaxxinate us out of this is in vain. *1968 we had the Hong-Kong flu,* worse and more deadly compared to corona and the world population at that time. It is till around and kills like 100/ per million every year (almost all elderly). Guess we never got any heard immunity on that flu.

It makes me extremely mad, what the Governments of the world have decided to do !! This has hurt me and my son tremendously ! My wife has been away from us for over a year now, and the Aussie gov wouldn't even allow her to return and help me late last year, to help me after my operation !!

I love notime2bsad because it always seems to be on my beer drinking schedule of Friday and Monday nights and gives me 2 videos to enjoy, so thanks a lot for that. You are correct Chuck, now is the time to buy and some will do really well from it, albeit at the expense of those selling up.
Its the same with business, shares, property. The people who ultimately make money are the ones that buy when everyone else is selling

Well I hope the Thai people bounce back and give us Americans and others a chance to come back to Koh Chang and other wonderful Thai beaches, resorts and places. Here in Texas, many small restaurants took a beating but they have hung in there. It seems some of the corporate small food franchises though have lost too much money and they are finding it hard to hire people back,,,,IMO.
should add it is 'family' small restaurants....

We just saw the same type of devastation when we visited Pai in Mai Hong Song Province recently and Phuket a few months ago. Places that did not cater to foreign tourists are doing much, much better. It is a very sad state of affairs.

hello chuck and peige ,...long time no see... today i have started drinking beer...summers finally arrived in India..It is going to be festival of Colors next week similar to songakarn .. Cheers to both of you..always pleasure to watch your videos..altogether different content... I avoided your videos for 3 weeks ..why? because... I want to come there...I am so longing to come there.. and this noise of motorbikes, birds chirping in background, streets...they all remind me of better times i was there... but.. i couldnt resist any more..finally after 3 weeks I opened a chilled bottle of beer and switched on your videos...Cases are still rising in India..I am taking all precautions..but wont let me go out of this country. India is no where in visa exemption list...No Visa for me.. but It has gotten very tough to apply for a Thai visa much difficult than it is for UK..anyways..cheers..

Heartbreaking to see the financial devastation so many small businesses just can't handle the debt and no customers. Every little food place and so many Thai people just trying to survive. The good thing is Thai people find a way that is what I admire. Families matter.

So sad that the businesses who rely on tourists going under. It's happening here in Europe. This scamdemic has attacked the working class to put millions into poverty where they don't know where their next meal is coming from. It's a crime against humanity. Enough of that. The place has lost it soul but it will return one day sooner rather than later one hopes. Dave the bar-restaurant who cures his own meat. If he was to market that to restaurants I think he would do very well. What a skill he has brought to Thailand one he should keep secret because you know If Thais see something being a success they copy it. Take care.

i know all about it i invested in a big new nightclub in walking street pattaya oct 2019 we had to close in march 2020, but we are holding out as its coming back in a few months, we have big djs from europe playing , to much money involved to walk away, great video nice island i love it there too .
Right now I would think it would be an Investor's Paradise. But you would have to sit on it for a while

I did visit www.Aquarius-residences.com, it’s 23 homes looking over the fishing village, 99 condominiums in the middle of the site and all of the typical luxury amenities (including a private island resort). No pricing on the website, so I suppose if you have to ask, you cannot afford!
