SAJB led the charge on this number, giving us an inspiring rendition that rocked my Sox. Benson and other “names” hammed it up, but while entertaining did nothing for the soul of the music. This young lady, however, really nailed it. She is the heart and soul of the music.🌹🌹🌹🌹

Let’s not forget the marvellous original version by James Moody himself, either at the sax or singing his chorus! To my mind only George Benson’s version is up to Moody’s standards. I like the singer here, but at times the orchestration is a tad clumsy and the conductor’s metronomic beating lacks the indispensable sensuousness for such a piece.
