- This build started with a CRF250R frame that we modified to fit this CR500 motor... we then added some goodies such as our full trike conversion kit and a panthera electric start kit! i still got my 85 250 atc
I’m 47 and grew up on my ATC 250R. I was one of the last holdouts in the dunes until 2017 when I switched to a Raptor 700R. This would be a dream come true!!!
Better off getting another (new) *Yamaha Raptor 700R before they stop making them* then getting one of these franken-bikes! They overpriced junk u ask me.
When I was 5 I got my first Honda atc 70 , later I had a 110 , 185s , 200x and end up with a 86 atc 250r . This brings back all those memories and I can only imagine how insane a 500 would be . Awesome job .

i built a 2001 cr500 conversion atc but it was nothing compared to that beautiful beast

Im pretty sure with the fabrication, man hours, parts, overhead and the sheer frigging beauty of it, easily talking in the ballpark of 18K. Not to mention they outlawed them in 1985-86 and their a bitch to get your hands on

I have the utmost respect and admiration for those ATC conversions. I remember watching a ATC 250r frame with the 500 engine and that thing was a screamer at the dunes back in the day.
Hell freaking yeah!! I have been impatiently awaiting the completion of this project for what seems like an eternity. And like always BVC did not disappoint. These guys are at the top of the game!! GREAT WORK
I have a CR 500R engine sitting in my garage. Now I have to watch all the videos and buy your products to build my own.

42 now, around 25yrs old I had a FULLY-BUILT 250R trike, EXTENDED swing arm, Dura-Blu axle + 2or3" per side, FMF Gold series pipe n silencer, Pro-taper bars, CHROME Plating on too many parts to remember, wheels, swing-arm, fork lowers, triple trees, pegs, etc, etc, etc!!!
I got the bike from a good friend whom I watched build for more than a year!
I traded him a 79 Mustang Pace Car (Foxbody) which i had done a TON of work/upgrades to. Built late model 5.0 roller motor, T5, 8.8 3.73.
We both got a good deal, n now I MISS BOTH!
Definitely a killer build! Design and quality are clearly top notch. Thoroughly enjoyed watching and will tune in for more!

I'll keep it on 2 personally,never had much luck with 3 wheelers,and I rode an 89 cr 500 for a while,this thing looks like death to me...

That is by far the best looking and coolest three wheel conversion that I've seen on CZcams todate and there is some nice ones out there but I love the fact that you use the CR500 I think that's amazing and you did an incredible job making it look factory great job guys great job
That's a badass 3 wheeler. The electric start is a super nice upgrade for the 500 engine. My buddy has a late 80's early 90's cr500 and it's such a pain in the ass to kick start. You guys did a killer job with all the little details. Not many custom bike builders go out of their way to make sure everything is easily serviceable.

Absolutely knocked this one out of the park guys! Only thing that jumps out as weird is the electric start motor. But even that started to grow on me so I wouldn't even say it's bad. I mean like u said maybe they could find a way to make them a tad bit smaller but that thing is freaking beautiful!
